Sky strikers handtrap game is why i knew they'd take it - a well timed ash on misc is still a silver bullet for the deck today. great duels either way! engage to one FOREVER
Ugh! I remember all the bricks when I was playing True King Dinos. Sometimes you had a God hand that was unbeatable, sometimes, you draw all your bricks. Just totally unlucky. Swordsoul 3-1. They're just too fast and they have plenty of outs to Jowgen lock. Kycoo might be a decent tech against them, but that's only if they don't open Mo Ye + Wyrm, assuming Jowgen isn't already on the field of course.
Next game will be one of THOSE matches. Swordsoul should win every game they start, and otherwise they need to draw their outs for the Jowgen shenanigans.
Actually, 3:52 was a _major_ simulator error. Chiwen should’ve been CL3, preventing your opponent from activating Ash and allowing you to make a battle-immune Herald. I don’t know what exactly that would’ve done, but I do think that it should be corrected.
@@andrejv.2834 It shouldn’t. Chiwen says “when a Yang Zing monster you control is destroyed by card effect:”. After Nine Pillars of Yang Zing resolves, the last thing to happen was Denglong being destroyed, so Chiwen should trigger. The fact that Raye also triggers doesn’t negate that.
@@gregoryford2532 Those are “when…is activated” Quick Effects, which follow a different rule than Trigger Effects. The interaction here is very well known: Nine Pillars popping Denglong and triggering both Denglong and Chiwen is very much a known interaction.
True king dino is bricky but damn this was even worse than like blue eyes or monarchs On a side note striker here was played much better than in the first match, actually choosing to go 2nd rather than 1st most importantly
I got an idea but it conflict with CBC duratiob. A tournament of power consisting of 4 semi finalist of previous 8 CBC. if there duplicate entrants you can make preliminary using 5th places to fill the slot If not you we need someone in audience who can pliot TONS of these decks really well.
If Spellbooks get get out Jowgen consistantly I think they can do it. Vishuda could be a problem though, but still, gonna go Spellbooks 3-2 with a little luck.
All that whining about Engage when it's Multirole resetting the entire backrow that actually makes the deck playable against aggro in the slightest. 3 copies is definitely too many though, if this deck had better power cards to search out it wouldn't need those extra draws as badly to work. But those STILL aren't out in the TCG, leaving Forbidden Droplet as the actual best Striker card for the time being(clears MMZ, chains to spells, turns off self floodgates if Zeke and the permanents can't, negates attacks when used in the damage step in worst case scenarios, etc.). Don't @ me Mine players, that card does nothing in the mirror which automatically makes it worse.
Kinda? The deck has like two different game plans. They either do spell heavy stuff where engage draws ends up coming up or they just hand trap combo decks 2 to 3 times, then do raye control. Multiroll seems pretty unneeded, largely because they have better extra deck options than they did before. 3 kagari really is a huge difference, most games aren't going to grind you down to them.
Did people really run triple Area Zero back in the day? That seems so bad. Should have picked the later lists with Roze allowed. Would have made things more interesting.
