This is how most first responder radios mount to belts, but using it for tools is a great idea!

I don't know...every invention has a use for some people. I was in 6 different trades in my 54 year construction career. I couldn't stand stuff hanging around my waste. I only wore a tool belt when I absolutely had to. I did however, occasionally use the old hook loop to hold my drill. The drill never fell off in my particular experience. I will say that it's interesting to see the things people invent and Fastcap is the place to go to see ingenuity in action.

gday lucas i hope they will sell as a 5 pack for the tradies either the buttons or the lock hooks great idea by the way but im guessing too pricey for me here in oz based on the cost of magnets on your store

Any chance you could make washers for the cams out of plastic so that it could break away incase the tool gets caught and can impact the safety of the user?

Nice. This is similar to some of the spider stuff, but in some ways this is better because it doesn't need a lock on it as the cam and rotation are the lock.
