A quick guide for Nefarian on 25 Man Normal and Heroic, the final boss in Blackwing Descent for Cataclysm Classic. A guide for Pugs, Lazy Raiders, and people who don't want to sit through a 10 minute boss guide to know what to dodge.
I did this already 5 times and only did it once successfully because somebody helped me kite with a freezing trap, I give up doing this my brain hurts, I really trying my best and I don't know what I did wrong many times, last time somebody told me I kept outside the healer reached, but shouldn't a healer follow me if we got 3? Every time I left the platforms I left it with 20% like they are ignoring me because they healed the dps I especially looked at the last interaction what they did, ythey left me to die on onixya a few times............ I really feel this isnt my mistake anymore, Im okay with critique thats why I'm asking what I did wrong everytime, this is the only boss we/I had issues, every other raids are easy.
This entire raid is just a big aoe healing check. I feel like 10 man is actually harder because you generally only have 2 healers and the Nefarion room is so big that the tank and off-tank are often not both in range of the middle of the room. At least that is my perspective as a healer.
Hii we wiped a lot on this tonight, but i'm wondering if its because we killed ony before nefarian landed, and we are skipping phase 2, does it make it harder to do his whole healthbar in phase 3
You need to bring Ony Low then pummel Nef until her energy is almost full then kill her. P1 is about dps management more thna anything else. Leave a tank and a healer to keep tank alive on Ony then everyone else on Nef. Just watch his Electrocute
@@BrettStefanijust with this Strat, so in p1 , one tank has ony and the other tank has nef + all the adds? We are having major issues keeping that tank alive long enough to get nef down to 80%. Also, is it best to kite the adds right around the edge of the room opposite nef?
The adds should either be kitted by a plate dps and slowed, or by a 3rd tank. It's not really feasable to have all the adds on your Nef tank unless he is giga. For P1, they need to be behind both bosses, so face them the same direction and have the adds behind. For P3, so long as they are not in front of the boss, just try to keep them out of the fire as much as possible.
@@no0bbbb yeah 3 healing nef 10 is usually the way to go, its no wonder you tried 22 times with only 2 heals, it's really really really rough on the healers because of the immense raid damage going out throughout. Nef is much more of a marathon then a sprint. I'd try to add a 3rd healer just for Nef and I bet you'll see a lot more success.
I love hearing a sulking raid leader complain about not enough raid healing going out when all the AoE healers are demanded to spot heal and your useless paladins keep AoE spamming.
