I wish Motorola would come out with a more durable, full featured portable two way radio that operates in all modes: dmr, Wi-Fi, LTE and analogue. This is basically a low-end PTT LTE unit for nationwide coverage modeled in a mobile radio format. Perfect for truckers. Interesting though.
I am not from Radio 2 way, but I do Work for Anderson Radio, an Authorized Motorola Dealer and Servicer. The radios do come with the Power cable, the GNSS (GPS) Antenna and cable, as well as the RF Antenna and cable. In order to have the radio start with the ignition, you will need to purchase an ignition sense cable (not included). Hope this helps
The tlk-150 & tlk-100 are only compatible with the Motorola WAVE OnCloud platform. There is an LMR interconnect that can be integrated in to the system. They will not run any 3rd party software such as zelle, teamspeak, etc.
Due to the versatility of this device they opted to allow the client to decide which mounting solution they needed for their specific application. Also they were trying to keep the cost of the unit down as well I think.
