I really dont understand why they cant manage to port these naughty dog games without the silly shader loading. And the massive cpu dependence almost like the game is just emulating a ton of things
Same for the last thing, can't believe the minimum specs include like 16GB of RAM, it's a PS3 game. Sure, it's some remaster, but the goal shouldn't be to make it as demanding as a brand new one
it's not a ps3 game anymore, though. It's a ps5 game using their newest engine, which inherently requires more horsepower, they've just fucked up and rushed it out the door on PC without proper optimization.
@@Thekempy I know it's based off of the newest versions and not so much on the actual original version, my take gravitates much more towards how much the port/remake is NOT about getting a classic to as many hands as possible, even knowing being ND and Sony
It seems like the people porting these naughty dog games are really bad so modding is much more difficult. More modding has been done on the closed system ps4 than any pc port which is very telling how hard it is to mod these ports
I'm interested in the port but I do not like a lot of the new models (namely Sarah, Joel, and Ellie). It'd be awesome to be able to switch them out with the originals!
