@@JuwanBuchananIt makes sense why the enemies in this game would be more clever, as their leader is back in full force and they don’t want to disappoint.
The gloom arms are very hard to beat in the early game. Once you’ve gotten stronger just bullet time them with a bow. Defeating a hoard spawns another threat (I won’t spoil that) If you want their loot drops though, simply not engaging in combat and getting some high ground will cause them to disappear. This also makes them drop materials.
After having beaten a few of them, no joke the best tactic is to keep your distance, and fuse bombs to your arrows when firing your bow, and fire more or less into the puddle where they come from. This is because it will do the most damage overall and will prevent them from regenerating quickly. Plus bombs stun and will slow them down. HOWEVER, I highly suggest you ready yourself for the results of killing one. That is all.
the best way is if you have a ice chuchu jelly (you can make that by freezing chuchu jely with a ice rod or ice fruit) or simply using a blizzard rod/ice rod/ magic rod + sapphire and freeze them. then just chain cycle and EZ
