I've been through 5 consultations with an ENT, DDS, Maxillofacial Surgeon(s), Acupuncturists, Physical Therapist, Chiropractors, but NO ONE can tell me how this is actually addressed. They can only address the muscles around the face, neck and jaw, but not the disc itself. Does anyone in the world have any suggestions on who to go to for this? Or even some techniques to work on myself would be great. Any and all help is sincerely appreciated.
I think I have ad with reduction, my left jaw has been clicking for few years and it doesnt have any pain. I went to the dentist and they said my jaw muscles could be tightened or strained so my left jaw looks more bigger than the other side. I'm doing jaw pain relief massages(although i dont have any pain but it reduces the clicking sound) and use a heat bag to relax the muscles, if i keep doing this will it help??? Or is it temporary?
So all jaw that is clicking as anterior displacement? I am very confused whether I have this or what? Mine clicked pop very mininal when I open and moreso when I move sideways. Nobody can explain to me why? I used to have popping while I chew, now not anymore.. so did it get better? or i am on my way to lockjaw?
