Hi Baylen! I don’t advise against this becuase many people can do this with no problems, in fact, your breathing can sometimes be better if you sleep on your side since your jaw will not fall back as far. However, if the bite is off, clenching can be bad no matter what way you sleep. Sometimes certain ways we sleep can make pain or clenching worse but I am not aware of anyone suggesting to not sleep on your side.
