Toyota has done a very good job at implementing the same Toyota working culture anywhere in the world. It is very interesting to see the same quality implemented in TMMC happening in ASSB (Toyota Plant in Malaysia). 😍
Posted by weberr Recently I stopped our TMMC president Frank Voss and tried to have a discussion with him about TMs and TLs recent wage increase. I tried to share with him some information that prove how badly inflation has eroded away our standard of living. I have worked at TMMC since 2002, from 2002 to 2008 our wages were good and reflected the cost of living. After 2008 during the recession TMMC TMs and TLs where subjected to almost an eight year wage freeze. I remember getting a 10 cent raise during this time period. During this same time period, GLs and managers where getting pay increases that reflected inflation. I asked our TMMC president Frank Voss about GLs and managers receiving cost of living pay increases, and TMs and TLs not receiving cost of living pay increase and this is what he told me. He said that GLs and managers were given pay increases because TMMC wanted to keep them happy so they would not leave TMMC. He also said that because TMMC provides stable employment for TMs and TLs, we don't need to receive pay increases to keep up with inflation.
Hahahaha quality engineering analyst.... My 2017 RAV4 was built at this plant. I bought it brand new... At 2500 miles the transmission had to be replaced. At 4500 miles the engine started leaking oil from the timing chain cover and had to be fixed. Extremely poor quality control. Will never buy Canada made vehicle again. Stick with "Made in Japan" quality.
@@xanderman0218 Please elaborate how bad transmission and leaky engine translates into somebody being a bad driver. Otherwise I will be under impression it could be you have a bad brain.
@@ferfrdfsfwf You can easily break things if you drive the car hard during its break in period. Leaky engine is likely due to damage caused while removing the engine and trans to replace the transmission. If that is the case then it too, is as a result of your incompetence.
@@xanderman0218 easily break things if you drive hard? Looks like you're saying Toyotas are POS, since they break easily. Or more likely you don't know what you're talking about... Do transmissions require a break in period? Your comments show your mechanical incompetence.
