Metro Line 456 operated less than six months. It was cancelled due to COVID-19.

We were absolutely shocked that MTA eliminated line 456 without any public comment.

@@TheMetropolitanNetwork They kinda did tell us for Line 456 being suspended. But they never told us if the suspension was permanent. Even though Line 456 was a pilot line only for 6 months according to the source.

@@itsexlyosnap5660 Its was originally a pilot line at its 2nd incarnation, the MTA should bring that line back to fulfill its six month trial period.

Or at least let the public comment on this line cancellation beforehand.

If they decide to bring back the 456, they should at least add stops on Harbor Transitway Stations so ridership can increase.

@@itsexlyosnap5660 If the MTA did add stops along the Harbor Transitway, the A Line (Blue) would lose some ridership. We all know that Rail is the future for Metro, well for the ones in power.

During covid it's free

So far during this stage, it’s only operating on Monday thru Friday’s during rush hours only. AM northbound to Downtown LA, PM southbound to Downtown Long Beach.
