This is a review of the new NECA Tokka and Rahzar action figures. In this video I show how these menacing mutants compare to their designs from the movie. Are these 100% movie accurate? Mostly haha. Also coming soon I will upload a video comparing these guys to their Playmates counterparts from 1991. Check below soon for video chapters.

That's pretty awesome you notice it's tire w/nails & screws armor. I think one (maybe two) reviewers realized those were bits of tires lol. As southern women would say: _bless their little heart_ As far as those other bits, I'm not quite sure. Some of the parts remind me of air duct hoses; or the thicker plastic kind off dryers...just larger.

The shoulder pads kind of remind me of the tubes people use to extend their downspouts.

I never thought about Tokka looking like a Skeksis, but you're right. Like a giant doe-eyed Skeksis. _MmmMmmmmmmm_

Every time I see those fabric wraps dangling from their wrists, I think of puppeteers hands being used. Obviously that's not a thing with them, but using long cuffs or whatnot to hide the puppeteers arms is a Henson trademark. And clearly Jim Henson just digs tassels and hangy things lol. Makes me wonder if he had anything to do with designing these guys, considering he died in '90.

His style probably just kept on influencing everyone at the studio. I didn’t include one of the pics I have of Rahzar where you can tell he’s probably a version without facial movement. The way his face looks in it he kind of reminds me of a Gorg or Snookums.

Are Tokka and Rahzar the same height as Bebop and Rocksteady from Ultimate Super Seven, or are they taller?

Bebop and Rocksteady are probably a little bigger. I actually showed them standing next to each other in my Ultimates Rocksteady video if you want to see what they look like next to each other. I had to look it up to remember haha.
