Although the throws are weak, they’re useful when surrounded by other enemies and to prevent yourself from getting hit of something is about to damage you.
Dotemu did an excellent job making the characters as close as possible to their 1987 counterparts rather than recycling their animations from the console universe. If you take a look at the 1987 opening, you will see Mikey for the most part uses a single nunchuck which allows for a lot of dynamic action shots where he maneuvers the nunchuck around his body, behind his back etc. . In the opening there is one instance where he uses two nunchucks during a descending shot. For this reason, Mikey was given two nunchucks during his Dive Super in Shredder's Revenge. Towards the end of the opening you can see the inspiration for Mikey's Taunt and Slide Attack as well. 🙂
@@Crunan__ Thanks for responding and I did go back to the original animation of TMNT cartoon. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cA5yaZ4f8jI.htmlfeature=shared 🙄 I'm sorry when I watch his character in this game, it just gives me a sense of something missing. Looking back at the two awesome TMNT arcade games , he had both weapons and still was able to pull off great feces. Not to mention in every cartoon and movie adaptation, he had both nunchucks. Within this game, He could have still pull off most of those moves with one nunchuck clutched in his hand while other is doing all of the action.....
Thank you for the kind words :) I've been playing beat em' ups competitively for a few years now running TMNT IV, Knights of the Round, and others which require constant double tap forward/back to dash. At the time of this video I was playing on a XBOX 360 arcade stick, but recently moved onto a Hitbox Control which has been a great improvement as far as dash consistency.
I am looking for a Raphael and Splinter tutorial. I am going through every one of your videos looking for it, not sure if you have done one for them or not.
Thank you for taking an interest in these videos :) No I do not have Tutorials for Raphael, Splinter, or April yet. Aprils will come at the end of the month and Raphael will come out shortly afterwards. @4n6 is the current master of Raphael and I want to do a deep dive in his current WR before making one. Splinter will probably be sometime later.
