Nothing wrong with shelf life bait,just freeze them immediately,the build up of ice in the bag will upon defrosting transform them,the resulting moisture is perfect for coating with powdered ingredients of your choice.

That looks like a ridiculous number of swims on that water. You get a fish that kites and you could take out the next 2-3 anglers. As much as I love my fishing I do like a bit of space. Reminds me of Thorpe Lea and why I don't fish it anymore. I know a lot of anglers don't mind but my time on the bank is limited so I fish for pleasure and I get that by having decent sized swims. I am not driven by fish size but by what I get out of going. Each to their own and I am not knocking the anglers who fish these type of waters nor am I knocking the fisheries as it works for them. Just stating a personal preference.

johngmls you may be lucky where you live and have plenty of carp waters to target but in the island of Ireland carp are rare as hens teeth and we have very few waters to target carp. This water was originally set up as a match fishery but that fell by the wayside and this is now becoming a real Mecca for Irish carp anglers. When booking anglers are given space between pegs to stop that exact scenario you mention. For me I like a challenge and this water will give you that in spades. As you said each to their own but we can only fish in the waters we have, which isn’t many I’m afraid!
