But I don't think it's because of him, but because Steam's content restrictions and TNO-devs being cringy liberal snowflakes. If they removed Bormann's secretary rape event, then no way Dirlewanger could've receive his historically accurate atrocities. But I can assure you, if there wasn't such restrictions, he would've made all that he did IRL and even more - cuz, you know, there's no Reich to at least remotely control him.

It was an anthem of the Worker's International in the XIXth century and later a military song for the GDR army while there was also a "Florian Geyer" division in the Waffen-SS during WW2 (so they probably also used it).

This is actually a song about the 8th SS Cavalry Division "Florian Geyer" and would not make sense in this Dirlewanger context, for it states "we are led by Florian Geyer" and "we are the Geyer's Black Host" 🤓
Haufen in this context is more acuratly translated as company. the whole second verse is incorrect subtitles, Wrong audio? last refrain you didnt remove 'add your text here' and you should preface this video that the song "Wir sind des Geyers Schwarzer haufen" is not the song of the dirlewanger brigade but is instead much older.
