We shall rebuild humanity from its very core, reshape society and human nature. We can win against man’s natural flaws, we shall build a paradise on earth, for all of humanity, for everyone shall be welcome in our utopia ! -The 60s. No but for real I’ve got a feeling that a lot of people shared these same thoughts at that time, and somehow, I still want to believe in them, I still feel like humanity’s hopes aren’t lost.
"The hardliners and militarists of the Nazi Party wanted a Germany full of warriors, tempered in endless all-versus-all warfare. And their wish was granted."
What's chilling about German Anarchy is that it not only has a dominant power fall into bitter factionalism to the point of no centralized authority... But rather that the warlords could get a hold of the nukes that Germany and Burgundy owned, which they would leak into the black market, ensuring that terrorists could have an opportunity for nuclear terrorism by these leaked nukes. And don't forget the sheer horror, trauma, and starvation the civilians have due to the frequent fighting, along with a humanitarian crisis that makes the European refugee crisis look tame in comparison.
The refugee crisis would be amplified by the sheer hate the rest of Europe have towards Germans and Germany, making no one want to accept the refugees And also *no one is safe under nuclear terrorism*
Don't forget about 'local' warlords among 'cnountries' abroad in which german military presence was significant. It's like if Britain collapsed at the peak of its gains and all of the controlled terrotorry turned into chaos.
Is this "mother anarchy loves her sons" but super slowed down to the point it feels completely different (just like burgundian lullaby is a ss theme slowed down) ?
Experiment : Germany under Heydrich Russia united by Yazov. Watch Germany crumble into anarchy and Yazov having an easy-go trip to Berlin. How would that be? Or it would work at all? Would Germans revert anarchy just to nuke the scheiss out of the Great Trial? Tell me if any of you tries.
i think if germany and even Burgundy were to die before yazov can get to them, yazov woud pretty much get depressed seeing that he would never get his great trial
That could also be a posibility. That or he could be laughin at the fact that the might Germans are nothing but weaklings in face of his mighty armies. It now depends tho...
Yazov in my mind would still enter Germany but just kill any Germans he sees, im not putting that lightly, like actually annhilate the entire population reducing it to the negatives and any form of Germania culture would be destroyed too (buildings also) and maybe repopulating it with Russians but I'm not sure
Anyone reckon this sounds similar to the Uprising soundtrack from Halo 2? Instruments are different, but my god does the melody have a resemblance! So cool!
Just another drunk thought impressed by this music and a bottle of alcohol... There are no winning moves in TNO universe. At all. No matter what you do in this damn world, things will only get worse. You can try to lead the country into a brighter tomorrow... But that will not reverse the horrors of Na..sm happening around the world right now. You can lead the country to an ultimatum victory, but that will only mean more blood and more victims, with an unclear outcome. You can try to defeat the Nazis economically, but this will clearly not happen in this century, thanks to all that they have conquered, while worsening living standards of your own people. Or you can cooperate with them, but then somewhere out there, in the future, you will face the inevitable collapse of your country and shame for all time. You can launch nukes first, hoping that you have built enough bunkers and that your most valuable people will emerge from the ground on a planet cleared of brown abomination to build societies of peace and prosperity, but billions will die. Or you can wait until someone else will do it and be unprepared for this, because investing in bunkers is only worthwhile if you are going to shoot first: otherwise no economy will survive. And, of course, all na..s would stay alive too... There are simply no good ways at all. Some may improve something in one given country, but overall ~~entropy~~ world-f..k-o-meter will increase over time anyway...P.S. Probably the only really good way for humans overall is Zhdanov's Russia and some decades of peace by any means possible. In that scenario, at least, some people would escape Earth before everything'll inevitably fall in one or another way. Although world would be pretty much doomed even in this scenario, just with a tiny hope.
This song fits so pleasurable with my reading of Hans-Hermann Hoppe's book, and still makes me intrigued. "The difference in the results is impressive.32 While both countries do well in their respective blocs, West Germany has the highest standard of living among the major West-European nations and East Germany prides itself in being the most well-off country in the East bloc, the standard of living in the West is so much higher and has become relatively more so over time, that despite the transfer of considerable amounts of money from West to East by government as well as private citizens and increasingly socialist policies in the West, the visitor going from West to East is simply stunned as he enters an almost completely different, impoverished world. As a matter of fact, while all of the East-European countries are plagued by the emigration problem of people wanting to leave for the more prosperous capitalist West with its increased opportunities, and while they all have gradually established tighter border controls, thus turning these countries into sort of gigantic prisoner camps order to prevent this outflow, the case of Germany is a most striking one. With language differences, traditionally the most severe natural barrier for emigrants, nonexistent, the difference in living standards between the two Germanys proved to be so great and emigration from East to West took on such proportions, that in 1961 the socialist regime in East Germany, in a last desperate step, finally had to close its borders to the West completely. To keep the population in, it had to build a system the likes of which the world had never seen of walls, barbed wire, electrified fences, mine fields, automatic shooting devices, watchtowers, etc., almost 900 miles long, for the sole purpose of preventing its people from running away from the consequences of Russian-type socialism."
