@@BinguDingus While I agree, you can't deny that a certain species has a portion of it's players that act a certain way making them have a good or bad reputation. Dilos for instance are known to contain a lot of rulebreakers or trolls, leaving very few good ones. Rexes tend to be cocky and cry or point fingers or excuses if killed or losing a fight. Same with trikes on some servers. Doesn't mean it's true to everyone but the reputation is still out there because of those people. Funniest Rex who fell into this rep still makes me laugh. I was my growing adult giga(91%?) And caring for a juvi. Seen a rex alone. Sniffed. No gore, no visable friends. Told juvi to hide. I 3 called rex, they 1 called, I 3 called again as I closed distance. I proceeded to tear into rex, got my leg broke, still fought. They 4 called but I finished them off being on top of them. Told juvi to come eat. Rex starts SCREAMING in chat "YOU RULE BROKE" I was like ????! Wtf? How? They continue to bitch, saying they're going to report me for killing them. Like who has the audacity? 3 calling back, heading into the fight, not running when your enemy has a broken leg, and STILL you think it's a rule break? Lmfao. Seriously, there wasn't any gore, or food. It's like the salty rex players think they're unstoppable and get pissed when something beats them.
@@lostsomehope5205 He wasn't rule breaking by going into the water at first. It's only if you're bleeding which he wasn't. So you called rule break far too soon. Even the small bit much later on wasn't why "don't go in deep water while bleeding" wasn't at risk. Since he wasn't close to dying to prevent body denial. And it was only once to correct which side he was on. No actual harm made. So a good friendly tip is all: Players are allowed to pass through water when they're not bleeding to escape. Going into water when bleeding and staying there to purposefully die in the water is the rule you're mistaken for. Hope you learned something now. Also, try not to be so aggressively cocky, it can lead to others wanting to kill your dinosaur all the more. Nobody likes that, be more chill in the future dude. :)

Granted, the “swimming through water while bleeding” bit is a rulebreak in most servers, but... it’s not really that big of a deal in this case. The way he positioned himself, there wasn’t really a reliable way to get out of a hit-and-run there, plus it’s not like you were actively body denying like most people who swim in water while bleeding do lol. And you didn’t swim through it too much either. Also, I see this sub rex is in the comments and replying to people. Tough luck dude, you should have taken your first cerato corpse and moved on. This was at Mage's lakes, and I 3 call the rex just in case there was a body and not gore I didn't sniff.(no food) They answered the challenge with 3 call, I 3 call again as I set up ambush. See the rex crouch and prepare defense. We charge and I start wrecking this rex, even as my leg got broke. So they try to do the run out run in tactics which only gave them more bleed and me more bites in. I kill them. Just getting on late 2nd/early 3rd screen from bleed at the end of it. This rex proceeded to SCREAM at me after that. YOU RULE BROKE, etc. Me and juvi were so confused. First I made sure it was same rex/giga conflict. Yup. I was like, wtf? How? I'll report you!!! How do they wrap their head around like that? Accepting a fight, so even if there was a body (there wasn't- we checked everywhere) they never 4 called, didn't run away when they broke my leg... yet somehow the giga is still the rule breaker? Lol I swear some players just get salty thinking they're the best and get shocked when they get bested. A hour or so later another rex came. HOLYSHIET it was the best rex player I've ever encountered. Even had PERFECT control for the moment I 4 called. Could've accidentally bite and killed me and would've been understandable- but pulled away to keep me alive. Just... beautiful. As I sat to heal off bleed I let him know I'd skedaddle as soon as I could move. He was chill. Surprised a rex's bite was that good. So I found out this was his first adult rex. He usually played spino or trikes. Best dude, wish there was better players like him. :)

You are either with us or against us. Then, ofcourse we migrate to feed our massive army mafia! Lol But it's all in good fun. Most of the mods or admin I know play as dryos or lower tier stuff. It's actually exciting to see them finally play as big apexes. So glad I haven't experienced that. Lol

true....what is not allowed is camping in the water so the predator cannot eat you...pesky was not camping he was swimming because he wanted to turn there was a wall of rocks, a rex behind him and a river next to him he had no other choice

Even with servers stating aquatic dinosaurs can camp in water, they make it so they're only protected whilst in swimming animation so that if sit or stand up to regen stamina you are allowed to bite and cause bleed- thus making sure this rule cannot be abused.
It's likely why the staff just popped away, going elsewhere. They're like "This crying isn't worth my attention. I've got more important matters" Plus, I'm fairly convinced when they were warning about water or wasn't to Pesky or his friend. Reason being the mod/admin warned again to "get out of the water" in chat when Pesky and his buddy weren't near the water at the time.

It's why I usually don't care about minor Rulebreaks, only really caring about serious offenders like mixpack, hacking, or uncalled for deaths in which I only ask for my dino back unless they're affecting the entire server. Only reported 3 times in all me time playing, twice was just to get my dino back (older sub giga & just adult spino) the one I actually cared to report for their IDs were mix packing hackers. Didn't know this group was hacking until others brought it up. I was the only one who was lucky enough to get their IDs. But small stuff? I just let it go, laugh about it or rant but don't waste staff's time. Hell, I could've reported the sub giga family and their juvi because by that server's rules "you need to be at least 1 adult giga" to adopt in a juvi or just be with another sub. I didn't care, I did care about them eating my food and freaked them out into 4 calling when I 3 called around the corner. He doesn't take that time to move to a different locale. We're done eating before even dawn and go get a drink.... who's there? A sub rex. We didn't think it was the same one but as soon as he started bitching..... we knew. Hunt attempt 2 begins... AFTER he targets me. This time it doesn't go so good for him. During this and his last breaths of life he tries saying we rule broke, and did A,B, C.... not knowing... one of those allos were a mod watching who quickly called him out for lying. Lol We carefully finish him off because while me and my friends can feel bad and abandon a hunt if you're cool. We don't pity liars and salty fools who were arrogant to start. If they can't tell the difference between crossing water to navigate during a fight and staying in water for body denial? They can get bent.
Well, Not going into water while bleeding is a big rule, but only because if you die- they can't eat you. Never have I EVER seen a rule stating you cannot cross water when NOT bleeding. Pesky never did anything wrong. At all. The only people I see mentioning defending rules are the ones like myself who're proving Pesky is a good boy.

Ya know that fight reminds me of a vet fight I got in on this very sever I was just growing my juvi Trike and then out of no where a decently sized juvi rex came towards me and I wrecked him when he four called I felt pitty and let him live but he got killed by a dilo
The rules are strange for some servers I can’t recall which server it was but I was growing a suchomimus at Pride Rock and a pair of gigas came to the pond with the intent to hunt me. Having no where to go and being unable to stay in the water without draining Stamina and eventually drowning, I climbed the rock in the center of the pond and they told me that I wasn’t allowed to do that, to which I didn’t even argue with and just climbed down and let them kill me since I was getting bored of the sucho anyway. R.I.P. my boy 2020-2020
Also I know it is a rule that when you are being HUNTED you cannot swim to evade the predator, but I'm not sure how it applies when the HUNTER is the one swimming. Either way, no way they can engage and run through without falling in the water due to the subs positioning.
I believe it's only when you're bleeding. The only time Pesky did so was when he was correcting which side to go on since he litterly landed in water after the bite. No risk of dying to prevent body being eaten. So pesky was a good boy. He didn't do anything wrong.

I know that of that rex, and Nublar has a system where you can buy Dinos with Discord Points, and that rex in discord am pretty sure was at 1 mil+ points at the time, and rexes cost 60k, so they more likely than not just bought the rex lmao
A short rant about the “no swimming while bleeding” part, this rule makes no sense, as it makes it very hard to escape a fight because it basically means you MUST die to your opponent, and if you so much as touch water it’s a “rule break” making fights very one sided, if you’re not able to win, and if you can’t easily escape, you die. plus the sub-rex probably wouldn’t have eaten either of their body’s IF it won.

Hey Pesky, I don't think the mods were bitching at you for the water- because even after they're telling someone to get out of water when both of you weren't even in it. Yeah, that sub rex was something else trying to bend rules. Yes, it's a VERY COMMON rule to not go in water deeper than your ankle when bleeding because if you die they can't eat you. Only reason why. It's always stated you can cross water to escape or avoid predators however. As long as you aren't bleeding. Even with that small time you did AFTER all that time you're hardly damaged so you knew you had no risk of dying to correctwhich side you're on.(otherwise wouldn't you be denying him attacking you since "can't swim" by his own rules? Lol) This guy seemed really salty. Maybe he was someone who thought they knew rules but didn't? I mean heck, I've met people SCREAMING for a sucho to get out of water. A sucho. Killing sub rexes as a carno is elite because they are so cocky as carno is pretty under powered but it just takes some spicey patience and you'll win it. Full sub rexes are a lot more difficult as a carno though and I've only fought and won against 2 before. Sub giga is equal in turn if you try assride as carno, but if it gets in crouch it can catch you in your z walk lmao
To be honest, I rather enjoyed your content, but with this little mini series I'm kind of iffy about you. If you join a server with rules, then play with the rules and don't cry about them, otherwise just join a no-rules server like the official ones, etc. Crying about a body-drop/-contest rule with the words "What, are we supposed to announce our position?" is literally the stupidest argument anyone uses. Don't like it, don't play on the server. And the shit talk about the sub-rex got really annoying at some point.

just read the rules or don't play on that server.. they only reason you cant swim is because it is seen as body denying. However i think every server needs a grey area to the rules because the way you were doing it wasnt a big deal imo

ngl Alberto is a better option if you want to main as the sub rex You just have to be willing to marry the Vulnona Map and to live a solitary, lonely life because nobody plays as the Alberto, and also nobody knows it's stats barring ppl just calling it a sub rex clone, so you either get allos trying to solo you (and failing) or diablos running away from you. Plus Dilos are absolute jokes (you can outrun them and 1 shot them, alongside the fact the Alberto has an amazing turn while sprinting so they can't zig-zag to escape you) It's also got the slowest hunger drain out of all of the carnivores But the sub rex is gross, and I'm probably the only The Isle player who mains Alberto and I need to convert people to m y w a y
I mean haha sub rex is bad but most servers do have rules, swim with bleed means you can die in water and body deny. Most of the servers I played on have like no crossing water you need to swim in while in combat and such.

That sub rex was super cocky, and the bleeding and swimming is stupid. The admin should know that even a mostly adult sub rex wont 2 shot a carno with bleed- so in general those rules kinda stupid
