Wow, great stuff! As a 57 year old parkour participant I am really happy to see this. It is the same message I am trying to spread in my own small way.

Thank you. Thank you very much for your wonderful work. This is the most inspiring video I've seen in a long time. I am a Parkour coach and from now on I will be looking for a way to start a project like this in Spain. We know the potential that Parkour has. We know the potential of the people to overcome themselves no matter the age or initial condition. All of them can improve more than anybody could think. I hope we can get in touch somehow. I will be following you in Social Media. Learning as much as I can from you.

I definitely teared up a couple of times watching this. I just turned 44 and started parkour in October after spending years at the gym. I am loving every minute of it. I am way more flexible than ever and can move better than ever. I am the parent who plays on the playground equipment with his kids and we interact together. As I teach myself to break limitations, my kids (girl 7 boy 10) are following suit.

I'm a physical therapist from Brazil, and I use lots of parkour concepts during the rehabilitation. I'd love to go meet all these people. Who I should speek to?

@Marina38sanchez
@Marina38sanchez 3 года назад
@@qwertyki9367 Wow, 5 years later, I had to watch the video again. Lol. That’s a masterpiece. Well, I still use lots of parkour concepts in my rehab routine, but also movnat’s, George hebert’s natural method, Brazilian Treino Gaia, and so on. Actually, I’m interested in giving my client the ability to move freely. To be able to move without pain, and as fluid and safely as possible, Last month I participated on a parkour on-line Congress, explaining how I use pk in rehabilitation. Unfortunately it’s in all Portuguese, but we can talk if you want.

The best documentation and video i've seen for years. Thanks for doing what you do and also for sharing this great project. I also tought about doing such projects in vienna. I include also some of Parkour knowledge in my work as a physiotherapist, but never did workshop like this. Would be great for meeti some day and share ideas and knowledge. Keep on doing what you do!

It's already good ofc, but you're missing one thing: WALL CLIMB UPS. Like actually though these are really important, and obviously most of them probably can't learn how to do an ACTUAL CLIMB UP YET. However, just teach them the FOREARM PROGRESSIONS AND HOW TO JUST BARELY STRUGGLE TO GET ONTO A WALL BY LEANING ON THEIR ELBOWS, DO THE DIP UP, AND THEN CAREFULLY STEP UP ONE LEG AT A TIME. Also, you can also involve ridge grip, overgrip, or even bar grip in the training at first for progressions, plus on top of that, there's doing it on a lower wall and pushing off of the ground with your feet to learn the motions, plus upper body strength training, and I only saw one woman doing a pull up or sm at the end. Obviously the other things are important too, but just add forearm ups into this for anyone who is already gaining balance and can do the step up on a short wall from waist position.

This program is great . How would you get something like this started in different cities? Where would you get the training to set this program up? This would help people as they get older to stay strong, functional, not to mention the emotional benefits.
