The Women's International Parkour Weekend is the centrepiece of the global #shecanTRACE Initiative, inspiring more and more women to get out and move and reclaim their physicality with confidence. This year's event was simply massive and a joy to behold - and we think this film captures a lot of the simple power of this awesome weekend.
WIPW 2017 happened on May 5-6, bringing together female practitioners and coaches from all over the world to London - from countries including Italy, France, the USA, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Poland, Latvia, Canada, Australia and of course the UK.
The weekend was spread over two days - the first being held at the incredible training location of Archway in North London and the second, as always, at PKGen's London Parkour Academy, the famous Chainstore Gym venue in East London.
WIPW is the largest single gathering of female parkour practitioners anywhere in the world, and this film captures some of the amazing energy and positivity that flowed throughout the event. Keep the first weekend of May in your diaries for 2018!
A big thank you to all the amazing coaches and practitioners who attended the event and made it what it was, sharing knowledge, training, movement and fun the entire time.
