July 3, 2024 at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts. Compelling, award-winning live theater performance for children of all ages! With an environmental focus on SAVING OUR BEES, this show is supported by music, puppetry, dance, storytelling and ONGOING AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION! So much fun and an important message for all.
Farmer James has lost his bees, there's only gruel to eat and now the townspeople (the audience) have arrived to protest, chanting "There's no good food, we're in a bad mood!" “To Bee or Not to Bee” tells the farmer’s comic, tragic and ultimately hopeful story - complete with puppetry, clowning, dance, live music and lots of audience participation. Piti created the show to raise awareness about the honeybee's plight and to give children and adults tools for helping pollinators thrive in their communities.
