To Catch A Cheater: Is He Taking Advantage Of Their "Break?" 

You guys are awesome!! I have been battling depression lately and I try watching tv and doing other things that do not work. But watching y’all’s videos take my mind off stuff for a bit and make me laugh!!! ♥️ thank you

Some people just get a break to “cheat” because in their mind it isn’t technically cheating but I think it is. So, it’s fair to want to know if this person needs a break for the right reasons or for selfish reasons, and move forward or on.

That hall pass theory is actually true for some. You need to feel some different feeling that makes you see the qualities that so said almost one night stand makes you see everything you forgot to appreciate in the person you really love. No idea why some people are like that. I got married right when I became an adult so when we had a break it was very helpful to do completely my time. A 2 hour date doesn’t mean you didn’t spend a whole month focusing on yourself. It’s like a personal test. And I am not talking about hooking up. I’m talking about confirming feelings in all ways even with strangers.

Typically, guys define 'a break' diff than women. He needs a break b/c the return of what he wants isn't equivalent to what he gets. Why is it said that the 1st 3 months is the best sex of the relationship? Because it's a myth? No. It's b/c it's fact. And if she oversells her ability to provide, by that 3 month period, and then it wants for, say, 6 months, he knows it isn't going back to what it was. Now, he feels roped into a deception but can't figure out why. Then he realizes that her libido just isn't his, and his patience dwindles for the frequency to return. It doesn't. But he's patient. Then after 2 yrs, he's had enough and it's time for a break. Why? Because his tolerance for the other things that she doesn't give goes down as well. Now, he has a pessimistic view of the whole relationship and wants to see what else is out there. It's pretty much that simple. That's how it is that these patterns are patterns in the first place, and they aren't myth. They are statistically confirmable.
