You can Get your bus card when you come to Malta with this link. www.publictransport.com.mt/register-now You will need to get the Talinja app to move around (its an app for the bus)
This is very helpful, Thank you. You didn’t mention about a bank account and is there any anything like SIN- Social insurance number /NIN- National identification number in Malta or maybe it’s call something else.
Yeah, about that You will have to download an app called Revolut and Transfer wise...it's a Bank app and all but you cannot do all that till you come to Malta...
@@wizzyfxgamer hello, to apply for a study visa, that will be done by your school. This will be possible when you must applied to the school and paid part of your tuition fee and gotten your admission/offer letter. please communicate with your school of choice.
Just subscribed, Toke❤. I need to be sure though, would my study years count towards PR (I mean a BSc) like can I count the years on a study visa/permit to apply for PR?
Thanks for the good content ma. But the process seems a little different for Non EU nurses. I'm a nurse in Nigeria and I'd love to work in Malta but the process requires taking a bridge program for a period of 6months to one year before the process can be granted. Id really appreciate it if you make a content of this for international nurses if possible ma. University of Malta is currently stating a tuition of €5400 for the program. I just want to know if the payment can be in portions and the chances of being able to work in Malta after the completion of the program ma.
OK I'll speak to someone about that, get back to you about the process for int. Nurses. And about your questions, are you looking to study or work? Because the tuition fee for schools in Malta are actually one of the cheapest in Europe.
@@oritokeh I look forward to work as a nurse in Malta but for non EU nurses, we must take a bridge program for 6 months before we will be able to work in Malta and the tuition for the bridge program is €5400 ma
Hello, application is on for January/February intake so you can apply now. I also believe that the school is reducing applications from all year round to like twice in a year.
How long does it take to get your blue paper and can you use it to apply for a job and start working legally? Also is it possible to get a job within 2 weeks of arriving Malta?
Ok firstly, when you get to Malta and you must have gotten the required document to apply for a Blue paper, after applying you will be sent a mail for an appointment to come for your biometrics in like few weeks and then given a blue paper on the day of biometrics. Secondly you will then be sent a letter for when to come for your card (ID card). yes you can apply for a Job with the blue paper but understand that it is temporary, and it takes weeks to get. please do not travel outside of Malta with the blue card because you won’t be allowed to enter with the blue paper. Thirdly about getting a Job, i can not guarantee getting a job immediately as it may depend on the kind of job you’re looking for and you skill, but it may take time.
@@linellinel. Proof of funds is around 11k euros at the moment but I believe things like this changes with time according to the standard of living and all
Although the process changes with time but you'd be asked questions based on the information you submitted like: What's your full name What's the name of your school Your full Passport number What are the modules related to your course Why you picked Malta Who is your sponsor What do you intend to do after school What's your budget (standard of living) Where you'd be staying...and so on so please go through your documents well
@@oritokeh thanks you very much but I did the interview already and I’ve gotten the admission to global college But I wanna secure a accommodation with the school of you know how I can do that please 🙏
@@oritokeh please last question: When you were coming from Nigeria initially did you reserve accommodation with student hostel or you looked for outside of campus??
@@EseleborIdeh-tv3fw No I didn't stay in the school hostel, I rented my apartment. I just used bookings.com during my visa process, and I submitted the address of the hotel.
@@linellinel. No, please understand that it’s just a Temporary accommodation you can use if you’ve not gotten a contract yet. you can not apply for a permit without your name on a house contract.
