I did this on a 45mins commute to work one day while running late. When I got to work, the adrenaline was pumping through me so hard, my boss looked up at me and said "are you on drugs or something?" I just pointed at the zx6r in the parking lot.

I'm a trucker and a rider. But for everyone out there please please please don't pass on the right side of a trucker. Theres a lot of people i've trained that never expect a fast flying vehicle to pass in the slow lanes. Sometimes at certain merging points a truck will go to the middle lane and swap back to the slow lane and not realize a speeding vehicle coming in hot. But other than that dope gixxer. looking at swaping my rc390 for a gixxer 600

Use to ride like this all the time. until it caught up w/me an I got bit 'HARD' To everyone that thinks Im a good rider though, oh I do it the right way... It will catch up with you at some point. Only thing I'd critique is passing on the right when coming up to a tractor trailer. I never took it seriously until I took a rider course. Helps to improve skill and awareness of other potential hazards. Commercial vehicle driver do look in all mirrors but not at all times, they may not see anything for a moment and decide to move over because that is the designated lane for the slower moving vehicles. Of course with regular vehicles, had I found myself in such an instance, I've dropped a gear and moved as far away from the oncoming vehicle within the same lane as if sharing but it seems some inexperienced riders don't use the right actions towards this. The only thing that scares me about riding like this is other people. We've already made our course corrections and adjustments to avoid them, but cars still think they're doing you a favor by "moving over" at that speed. Best thing a car can do then is stay where they are! We've already made adjustments to miss you a mile ago! :)

One morning i had to go to another city for a court hearing, about 120 km away from mine, had to be there before 8:30 and my car refused to start, i had only been riding for a few months and had a little duke 390, i hop on it with just my suit, motorcicle boots, shoes on a backpack and left the case file at home cause of weight, and only took a small draft i made. When i got in the highway i realized my mistake, i have never been so cold in my life, it was the end of summer but morning chill was about 12c and with only the suit it felt like -10, took me like and hour, the coldest ive ever been lol, got there with less than a minute to spare and could not feel my hands, but the way back at around noon was nice. I learned that if using the highway you should dress like its mid winter, even in summer.

when riding the bike to work it was the only time i would beat waze estimate of arrival by 1 hour on a 2 hour commute. somehow you feel much freeer, you can fit through cars and even tight shoulders going to downtown is a dream. in a car you always feel trapped and helpless ina metropolitan area like Miami.
