You are an audio scientist. All your videos have simple titles but go very deep. Never expected such a video. Thank you very much. Regards.

EQing and compression are the two main things I struggle with. Writing a track comes naturally, but it's the mixing down part which gives me a headache! Thanks for all your videos.

Search Alex Tumay on RU-vid and see videos where He Is mixing, you can easily adapt that to other genre.

Thank you. This perfectly explained phase relationship concept. I heard the term before, but never knew how it works. Also, please ignore negative comments, especially related to your vocals (which I think are good vocals). More people than not will enjoy your videos.

You answered a lot of my questions. Now I am looking forward to see more of your videos. Thank you for explaining in detail and in a way I can understand. That in itself is valuable.

This is called PsyScope... I used here the free version but have meanwhile upgraded to the pro as it´s laughable cheap... You can get them here: free: fx23.net/psyscope/ paid: fx23.net/psyscope-pro/

12:37 how to decide if we need to invert phase? Secondly, is it safe to use linear EQ on sub basses and 808s(if ducked with kick)? Avoid linear EQs on percs and drums or anything with high transients

1. Very easy... if you think there is a problem because sounds sometimes are disappearing and you check this setting and it sounds better you leave it enabled... If you don´t hear any problems you don´t have to bother... 2. It is always safe as long as you don´t hear any problems... no matter on which material... You´ve just got these 2 options... Minimum Phase or Linear Phase mode... Just EQ with one of them the sound to your liking, then switch between the 2 settings and decide which one you like better... 3. No, there are no general situations... Use it and if it sounds wrong it was the wrong mode and you have to switch to the other...

Is it needed to normalize vocals and instruments? What's the reason it's an option in the sampler?
@flstudiotricks6903
@flstudiotricks6903 2 года назад
It´s not needed, no... I personally like to have the full waveform visible in the playlist and use this normalize function in first place for having everything visible full scale... In the Sampler: If it happens that the imported sample is very quiet it can be useful to bring up the waveform display in the sampler channels to see more details or for not having the need to bump up the channel volume/Modifier...
