Here's another tune for "Christ The King" here on the Organ at All Saints Church here we place the ZoomH2 in the Nave and Use the "Pedal Cam" for this one. Hope you enjoy it! Cheers Rob
I came out of the contemporary music service style and I prefer this and I'm not that old .. At the place I've been congregating at..they have a contemporary service.. they assumed I wanted to be there...I was like..oh no ..I want traditional.. Give me the hymns and pipe organ.
Oh, perfect redemption, the purchase of blood, To every believer the promise of God; The vilest offender who truly believes, That moment from Jesus a pardon receives. Amen and Amen!!
To God Be The Glory (hymn lyrics) 1 To God be the glory, great things He hath done, So loved He the world that He gave us His Son, Who yielded His life an atonement for sin, And opened the life-gate that all may go in. Refrain: Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, Let the earth hear His voice; Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, Let the people rejoice; Oh, come to the Father, through Jesus the Son, And give Him the glory; great things He hath done! 2 Oh, perfect redemption, the purchase of blood, To every believer the promise of God; The vilest offender who truly believes, That moment from Jesus a pardon receives. 3 Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done, And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son; But purer, and higher, and greater will be Our wonder, our transport when Jesus we see. God bless you! 🙏💙
I'm a devout Anglican and member of their robed choir (at age 17, no less) and I wish we would sing this. When I attended a United Church (Canadian combination of Methodist, Presbyterian and Congregationalists) we sang this. I suppose it's *too* Protestant and joyful for us Anglicans.
Amazing talent and awesome hymn. Getting goosebumps when hear such melodious church hymn. I remember the church I worship, St Marks Cathedral, Bangalore in India. God bless you abundantly
Sadly we lost the resident organist at our church to cancer a couple of years ago. He’d been there almost 50 years and could also play like this. We miss him so much but listening to you play brings back many happy memories of him playing.
This Made me feel like i was back in the Baptist Church well I'm Catholic but I Pray to the Lord Jesus not to the Priest. I will confess to Jesus Christ this song makes one think what Jesus did for us died for us On the Cross Thank you Rob and god bless
I don't think there's a day that goes by that I don't listen to your beautiful organ playing thank you so much for sharing your talent and God bless you
A great hymn, written in the early 1870s by Fanny Crosby. You always get the feeling that played and sung at full volume, this one would lift the roof off! Great to see the footwork. Thanks Rob. You have an amazing gift.
Rob you play this hymn so beautifully. I hope that The Lord blesses you with a tremendous blessing your music ministry. your walk with The Lord. and your personal life
Our blessed Lord and Saviour has given you a wonderful talent. The angels are watching you enjoy that talent, what beautiful music you make . The sounds from a pipe organ are fantastic.
To see a master of music move his/her feet is amazing . I attended a church growing up that our organist was so fun to watch. She was really good ( God Rest Dear Millie ). When I would take up the Cross to Crucifer , or take Acolyte to light the candelabras on the altar I would sit by the organ. To hear her play was awesome. I thought watching Rob was as equally amazing. He’s got a wonderful talent.
Great play-over - first line/last line works really well; it removes all doubt that singing is about to start which is a real help to congregations. Very good!
Hi Rob, everything I hear you play, I know you are one of the best organists who ever lived. You are FANTASTIC I listen to you, through some part, of every day. Are you an FRCO? you must be!! It is awful that the old pipe organs are being taken out of churches now with the re ordering. I told our vicar, when the organ goes, I am going with it! Take care and god bless you, rob.
Hey Paul thanks very much! :-) I'm not an FRCO as YET! Hehehe, But I have that skill somewhere I'm sure :-) Its also a shame when Organs are taken out of Churches too, but there are reasons, either the Organ has had it's day and beyond repairable or a Church/Chapel Closes then the Organ would be looking for a new home! :-)
@@RobCharles1981 Or the people who happen to be in charge for the time being are stupid enough and arrogant enough, to think they know better than everyone who went before them, and everyone who might come after, so they dump the organ in order to make room for the coffee area or an office, replacing it with recorded music or, possibly worse, a 'worship band.'
This was often used as a closing hymn in the Lutheran church I grew up in but our conservative organist never had as much Holy Spirit in his rendition as you do in yours.
