One of their classics. Every time they perform it I get goosebumps and don't want it to end! I can't tell you how many times I've played this song for over 50 years.
The ability to write these melodies and harmonies for decades, and perform them live at this level- this is a void we are experiencing in the world, now.
so perfect. tears fall seeing them young and in their prime, I believe Gladys Knight and The Pips were the guests also that nite . I remember watching as a kid
IMO, this is one of the most finely crafted songs ever. Barry's delivery is a true piece of magic, and those harmonies! The soul is oozing! There have been so many covers since 1967 when the very young brothers first released it. There is also a great rendition done on The Midnight Special with Helen Reddy in 1975. The collaborations are another thing I loved about the show. A huge thank you on a Saturday morning.
There won’t be any 3 siblings group with such great voices because we don’t have any good music these days , we were so lucky to grow up with such good music all genres everything was good
tak ada kata yang terucapkan selain Terima kasih The Midnight Special sudah menghadirkan Bee Gees dengan video dan sound yang mengingatkan masa kecilku
INTERESTING: Watch Berry’s chin position as he sings certain power notes. He angles it downward to his chest in order to open the back of his throat to achieve a deeper tone that’s not in his natural voice but can be achieved with wider air space….. interesting! I’ve always found the technicalities of extreme professional singers to be fascinating. I can see it clearly in Celine Dion, Whitney Huston and many others, after their massive popularity. Before their biggest hits (when they’ve not worked with a vocal coach), you don’t notice it as much, but afterwards it’s very apparent.
This song. Remind me of my first love. Sadly it was only one-sided. Her name was. Felita. I got amnesia around that time. I fell off a tire swing. Hit my head. I forgot everything even who I was. But I didn't forget her. This song takes me back to her. And what could have been. William s
This song brings her back to me maybe I still hold her in my heart. When I got amnesia. I was asking for. Her. So she new. Somebody had to tell her. She didn't say anything. Since I loved her. And out of respect for her I didn't. Pursue it. She was my first love. And you always hold your first love in your heart forever. This song just brings it out if just for. A moment. William s
Your first love never goes away it just sits there in your heart. Katella song like this. And you see her face again. If not just for a moment. It hurts and feel good at the same time. But I guess that's how supposed to feel. William s
Yes he is, a gorgeous hunk of love! This is the same shirt he had on during Johnny Carson show, but with different pants. The guy can wear anything, & he's a babe magnet!❤️🔥❤️🔥
@@kthor Ahh I know that show 😊 when the host asked them if marriage was a problem in their lives considering the fans, tours, concerts, he said "it's a pleasant problem" and it melted my heart ❤️
Sem palavras. Ouvir os BeeGees é um é um espetáculo. São seres de outro mundo .tinha a música no corpo e alma . Não tem pra ninguém. Quando junta as 3 vozes a música celestial. ❤ ❤❤
This is a masterpiece of a song, and an amazing arrangement. If you haven’t heard it, check them doing a bluesy version with Yvonne Elliman… I love that version even more.
