First off, I'd like to give many thanks to all of you who liked my Song of Storms cover.
This is another one of my all time favorite Zelda songs done my way. XD
It didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted it to and it's a little shorter than some of my other songs, but its still a good song in my opinion.

I understand the pain, a few years back I was waiting for family to arrive in hospice, my grandma was dieing. It was late into the night when she died. The last family member to arrive her little shietzu bandit. It wasn't until a few years later that I learned she wasn't my biological grandma. But you know what I didn't really care

you know... im almost 100% sure this video was responsible for getting me into playing piano. i remember that this was the first song i ever tried playing. i still can't play it but well it all started with this. and so for that i say thank you. when i started playing 3+ years ago i started off on a crappy keybaord and well..heh i own a piano of my own. so welp. even though this video is like 8 years old now, i'm still here. listening to this masterpiece that started it all.

I just have to say. I've been coming back to this cover for years now. I used to listen when I studied. I still do, but now it's therapeutic. It's almost as if listening to this song lifts burdens from my heart. Sometimes I feel like nothing I do or say will really be understood by those around me. However, this music will always resonate somewhere deep within and bring a sense of understanding and healing over me. Well done

Thanks a lot! :D Honestly though, I don't really know much about music editing software. I record the song by connecting my keyboard directly to a mic I have, then I use Audacity to piece my song together (I don't record the song all at once, I record it in parts) and recently I started using Adobe Audition for a little bit of noise reduction. The sound does turn out very good with just that, but I think that if I actually knew how to use Audition I could make it sound better. XD

I'm glad you liked it, but I don't think I'll be able to make sheets for it. :( Sorry, but making sheets for a song I wrote such a long time ago is about as difficult as trying to make sheets out of a song by ear only. I'll try to make sheets for any future songs as I write them from now on, hopefully it's easier that way.

Well, it's actually part of a larger community project, so I'm not sure I can even release it here until the project is done. Honestly though, it's not my best work. The cover stays pretty close to the source content, so there isn't a whole lot of interesting things going on compared to my other works. I also wrote that piece quite a while ago now (after "The Storm's Calling" but before "To Soothe a Wounded Soul"). I'll talk to the project head that I wrote it for and maybe release it later.

A couple years ago I listened to this and really enjoyed it, and I set out to make some sheet music for it... I gave up on it about three quarters of the way through and forgot about it. I recently dug up the file when I was cleaning out my documents folder and decided to finish it up. Hopefully somebody likes it. To truely heal a wounded soul: One simply has to stop, take a deep breath, and listen to this rendition of the greatest melody in Zelda's history. No amount of anguish, sorrow, or hatred for one another will last more than a few seconds once this melody reaches your mind. Truely, a masterpiece for the ages as it stands in it's place in time, waiting for the attention and gratification it needs.

Hey, at least you're getting somewhere with it, which is more than I can say for myself. xD Don't worry about it, I don't think it's a big deal that it's taking a while (then again, I can't speak on behalf of the other viewers xP). If you like, as long as you have the notes down, I can tidy it up and add any expression, articulation, dynamic, or any other type of markers it may need. The notes themselves are the hardest part after all.

This is so amazingly beautiful. I don't know why but music affects me very much... That is one reason why I don't listen to heavy metal music. I see a lot of people in these comments talking about finding this song on a day something terrible ahppened to them... for me it wasn't that bad, but I guess you could say that makes it even worse. Today I told my father that I'll only meet up with him again, if he respects me and how I choose to live my life. If I remember correctly, I recorded this directly from my Yamaha Portable Grand DGX-620. So yes, it is a synth of sorts, I'm just not sure what the synth would be called.
