Johnny was really lusting after Jean #1 in game two, then Tom confirmed why Johnny liked her with that bathing suit reference. Good to have Bud back. I am an old fart so I saw Jim Beatty run many times. Great athlete. He is still with us at age 87.

@@kristabrewer9363 The effects of cigarette smoking were not well known to the general public at the time. Being a Christian has nothing to do with whether a person chooses to smoke or with promoting the products of a sponsor of the show. It wasn't until the 1970s that tobacco product commercials were banned from television.

It was because of the game show scandals of the 1950s, which nearly destroyed the genre. There couldn't be even the slightest *hint* of impropriety.
