Marni Nixon! I gasped in glee just like the audience during introductions, lol. You're still relevant to this day, Marni!

Sorry for the 2nd comment. If you have never seen a Peregrine falcon on a dive at full speed, please take a look. Spectacular.

Marni Nixon's voice is heard on many great film scores. The one I always think of is Hugo Friedhofer's, Boy On A Dolphin. What a beautiful woman she was.

I remember when soccer-style kicking started in football - now every kicker kicks soccer-style.

If I had been a member of the panel, I think I would have asked "Bernardo Branson" what he was majoring in at the University of Maryland.

Why ? How would that help in identifying the real one ?

@@Walterwhiterocks It's been a while since I've seen this, but if I remember correctly, the two imposters were not college students and might well have stumbled for an answer as to what their major was.

@@519djw6 Possibly, but they both seemed perfectly able to come up with a make up major on their own, based on their other intelligent answers.

I thought that the same number couldn't be worn by more than one player. When the kicker scored an extra point or field goal, what happened to the player who was wearing the next number in the sequence? Did they switch jerseys? If so, hopefully the jerseys still fit after the swap.

In the soccer one; I never would have dreamed it was #1. In fact, a few questions in, I eliminated him right away. The affidavit said that he wore shoulder pads, and when he was asked about it, he said that he did better WITHOUT shoulder pads

The kickers completely fooled me. Number 1 didn’t look like an athlete at all. I also chose number 2. But my how the times have changed from a soccer-style kicker being a novelty!

Some of these dates are wrong or the list that I got with the actress Ann Sheridan is not accurate. I tried all those 6 dates she appeared as a Panelist, she is not on. Is there a way that I can get the accurate dates of her appearance? My deceased friend was one of the contestants, and we would love to buy it.

Kitty has on a 60s naked dress. Looks naked underneath 😁 I saw Polly wear similar on show. Must be an early 60s thing.

This isn't the first TTTT I've seen that featured a known singer. The panelists never requested they sing a phrase or two, which I think would have been cool to hear. I wonder if they were told they weren't allowed to ask?
@MovieJon
@MovieJon 6 лет назад
They weren't allowed to ask. It was too revelatory and made it too hard on the two imposters. But Marni did sing on TTTT when she came back during the Lynn Swann era. After she was revealed, they played a song from "The King and I" and after a minute or so, the audio cut out and she finished up the phrase.
@Walterwhiterocks
@Walterwhiterocks 5 лет назад
The "Lynn Swann era ?" What does that mean ? Was she married to him or something ? @@MovieJon
@MovieJon
@MovieJon 5 лет назад
@@Walterwhiterocks Lynn Swann was the host of TTTT for a time in the 1990-1991 season. The show began with Gordon Elliott, but some sort of contractual issue forced him to leave, then Lynn Swann took over (not very well, I'm afraid) followed by Alex Trebek, but by then the writing was on the wall and that version of TTTT was cancelled soon after.

Thanx, MJ, wasn't watching TTTT much at all after around 1977 or 78. It just wasn't the same without Bud Collier and that crew. @@MovieJon

Marni Nixon #1 was a babe. The real Marni was an extremely talented singer. Orson Bean was a very unique person. Dancing to the beat of a different drummer in his head.
