I mean, he did nothing to earn that victory in the end, he didn't even kill anyone in the end. Plus he was taken out with the /kill command last season before he could take himself out, so that may also be a part of it.

I think Cleo saw the dogs and that's why she didn't snipe pearl when she had a bead. Once Martin attacked, Cleo had to support him on the chance the two could take Pearl. It didn't work that way tho.

True... to be fair she puts up an amazing psychological front. And also when impulse and bdubs died, it said not only bdubs was killed by pearl, but impulse was killed by bdubs, so that chat message tells me that bdubs did some friendly fire before the battle ended xD

@@richardpike8748 It seems the message is very buggy for the player who gets killed because their team mate dies. It just says something related to the situation they were in, for example "falling off a ladder" if they happened to be climbing on one at the time. I wouldn't trust it much because of that.

@@QuasarEE Spoiler I guess, but if you watch Bdubs' POV, you can see that the final blow for them wasn't technically from Pearl, it was from Bdubs hitting Impulse by accident (he tried to jump her from behind, also taking fall damage in the process, but happened to push Pearl aside just as Bdubs was swinging his axe).

@@justinbchen well, dogs were just a distraction really, they did pretty much no damage that fight, against Cleo it was mostly just axe dmg, then Martyn did dmg to himself by shooting himself with fireworks twice (3 hearts) and Cleo finished herself off with fall dmg 1.5 heart

Till death due us part. In one way I'm suprised how fast the series ended with the last episode still having four yellows. On the other hand Im not and I completely saw how fast things went to chaos coming. Either way this was hilarious, fun, and also sad. Can't wait for next season amd the complete mayhem it will bring. While last episode had 4 yellows, their healthbars are paired up, meaning that it can get down to no yellows quite quickly. Plus, they ended up not pairing up with the non-soulmate like they were planning to do, which meant that they didn't have two healthbars of defense.

The Yellows and The Reds coming up with the idea to release wardens on the rest of the server within minutes of each other but without hearing the opposing teams plan was a funny coincidence that led to a great section of the episode for everyone, bringing the fighting down to the deep dark. Really made this server feel like a showcase for 1.19 again.

this is late but why is no one talking about the description. "you hold on until you can't hold on anymore" cleo held on to scott and their relationship for as long as she can, but in the end survival called for her to go against him. they had to team up with martyn, someone they held a grudge against for the entire season, against scott, someone who's always been by her side. she didn't want to kill him (shr even hesitated to hit pearl at the beginning) but in the end it was them against pearl and scott. i don't think cleo's perspective in dl gets talked about a lot but it's genuinely tragic
