Agree with you how good Early Morning Pipe pairs with my morning coffee. Went to very first pipeshow yesterday in Albany,NY. Had a blast, everyone was so friendly. Met many new friends. Found a tin of Prespritan, noticed similar tobaccos...had to pick it up. Looking forward to trying it, thanks for heads up comparison. Also picked up Sutliff Flannel Coffee tin. Tried it last night, try this one it's really spot on. Even my young lady fell for its aroma. Tastes like a coffee sweetend with a little Caramel. Know you won't be disappointed with this blend. So after scanning through all of the comments on this video, I’m perceiving a Large Elephant in the room issue in today’s YTPC……..EMP vs. Hearth and Home DayBreak blended by Russ O. I prefer Daybreak over EMP because for me Daybreak is slightly fuller than EMP. Similar to the BlackHouse/ Blue Mountain both award winners . BlackHouse is rated 3.6 with 99 reviews and Blue Mountain is rated 3.4 with 103 reviews, even after ten years great competition so to speak even though those two blends have different ingredients. Great video. EMP is still my morning with coffee smoke. I have a tin of Presbyterian i havent opened yet. As a new smoker i find myself trying everything. Now i have so many open tins.
You're not lying about that! That's a big part of my hesitation in trying it, I don't want to waste tobacco! Honestly, I think it would defeat me if I tried.

You're so right, Jean, and that's probably the only reason I haven't smoked it yet...because it would take so much tobacco. I have a feeling it was just someone's project and meant to be a decoration piece but it's functional and the draw is actually really good. I too love EMP and smoke it quite often, but not just in the AM. I’m still relatively new at pipe smoking and just bought and jarred a tin of Presbyterian. I haven’t actually smoked any yet, but plan on it in the next couple of days. Thanks for your insightful video. Good thoughts at the end, we should all just calm down and smoke a bowl together. I don’t hate people who are “across the aisle” as you put it but I know people that do. It does no one any good to think like that and if it continues we’ll never get past all of this. I appreciate you and your wisdom. BTW, have some LJP Thanksgiving blend being delivered tomorrow. I really can’t wait to try it. Question for you: should I wait to open it for a week or so or will it be ok to go ahead and try?

That is a crazy looking pipe you found. Great review thank you for sharing your thoughts. You broke it down perfectly. What are your thoughts on aging in the tin or letting them age and breathe in a jar? Cigars are not tinned up and they age your humidor just fine. Hey Joseph, thanks for watching, my friend! I tend to let a tobacco stay in the tin as long as I can withstand opening it. Sometimes I open it immediately. I've found that after I open the tin and jar it, that eventually the tobacco reverts back to anaerobic fermentation and the jar seals and it ages just as well as in the tin. I haven't found a discernible difference.
Thanks for the great video. I’m yet to try Presbyterian but it’s definitely on my list, I can only find it in a pouch here in Wales though as for EMP I find I prefer squadron leader as my go to smoke. Have you tried it and what were your thoughts on this great tobacco.

I'm sorry to say i've never tried Carter Hall but I know that P&C makes a Match version. I would assume it's similar to other codger/OTC blends. My favorites are Half & Half and Sir Walter Raleigh aromatic.
Hey man . I just started smoking. I bought several aromatic tobaccos, (chocolate mouse, honey, amaretto, Christmas cookies etc etc) I must be crazy but to be honest ,I do not feel any difference in my mouth. All of them taste like burned tobacco, the smell that I have in the room is slightly different.Can be true that the only person that do not enjoy the aroma is the one is burning the pipe but the people near oneself?? hahahahahah. Dude... You have Presbyterian Mixture MELANGE. Thats a TOTALLY DIFFERENT BLEND. Where on earth did you even get that? Its only sold in Europe. Presbyterian Mixture is WAYYYYY different from the German version of Presbyterian Mixture Melange.
