I can see the benefits for the gamer. One thing I will say for us the viewer. Watching from our perspective it's a whole lot better from a third party view, outside of the cab from 23:10 onwards. First person view is fine if used in a limited way, but I feel it's much less of a viewing experience from your audiences standpoint. I hope I've made sense.
Try adjusting the amount you can look up and down to make it less motion sickness-inducing for people watching. I turned it entirely off in ats/ets, but on fs, I had to have some but not the full range of view.
I was pleasantly surprised! My community has been asking me to get one for a while now, I'm excited to really put it to the test on a dedicated first person series! :)
An eye tracker for FS is a little too extreme for me considering there’s zero in-cab interactions to be had. Now if you were manually flipping switches like in flight sim then sure.
Appreciate you sir! Unfortunately had a few things come up that have taken me away for a bit. Got a couple videos coming soon but there's going to be a lul for the next couple weeks.
I'd 100% get one if it wasn't $300. I'd have to be able to use it for a lot of other games I play. I'd love to figure out head / eye tracking for around $50. Not sure if there's any solution at that price point.
