I would love to see Kelley & Tobin as USWNT captains in the future. Tobin commands enormous respect (her galvanising half-time speech seemed to really work), and while she can be intense, it’s nearly always justified. Kelley can be too, but would be the perfect antidote to any tricky moments. They’re also both supremely smart and technically gifted. Win/win!
The collective efforts of Groenen who made Bronze gave away the ball, Press getting out of Tobin's way, and of course Tobin scoring is such a joy to watch! Also, I will argue that Lavelle would have made a big difference had she played in the second half.

@@SaraSarah There appeared to be a push on the back from Christen and because the player went down the way she did it would be considered a dangerous play and unless you're Jordan Pickford or Harry Maguire that warrants a yellow.
My Roomate just explained this to me saying if two people go for a ball but clearly it was blue balls. With press hitting the player first it’s a yellow card but if press would have got the ball first she would have been okay .
@@SaraSarah It is so easy to tell when something is wrong with Tobin, she distances herself. Unfortunately, Christen is the one to get most of it because of their relationship, regardless of what that relationship is, They are very close and usually, the ones closest to you is the outlet. There was another game, I believe it was the She Believes Cup final or something, but it was clear that something was wrong and Tobin ignored Christen.
