Probably has a hand brake. I used to go to one like this up in Vermont on summer vacations as a kid. Why the guy said “speed up”…. Pushed a handle forward for speed… pull back to slow. It was so much fun! Used ski lifts to get to top.
That would annoy the hell out if me, having to consistently brake because of the chicken in front of me!!😂😂😂😂 I don't care who it is...get behind me if you are going to ride the brake!!😂😂😂😂😂
This is a travel goal for me. I do wonder though bc I am a thicker woman, is there a weight restriction or could a larger bottomed person fit in the seat? Serious question. And smart mouthed hateful people stfu! I know what I am & I dont expect others to cater to it. Im conscious to them!
Looks like one I rode in Switzerland a long time ago. Went with a friend, they had two person sleds and she kept me from using the brake. We went down the entire run without using the brakes. A few times we nearly came off the track but it was an absolute blast.
Went on a similar set up on a ski slope in MA. during summer. Lot of people got fiberglass burns from falling off and skidding bare legged on the track.
Need a few minutes between sleds and then mount 4 cameras on a helmet that show all angles as you go down becoming a 'multi-camera shoot' and then do NOT use the brake
Can't do these. Scare easily ... except one time. Disney's roller coaster in a dark building, my niece was terrified and I had to stay calm to calm her a little. "This is safe. It's built to be safe. Thousands of people ride without any accidents. This is safe." and so on while she buried her head in my chest.
Rode one of these in Colorado, west of Denver. Had some guy with a couple kids in front of me. sHe kept running up on his kids and I kept running up on him so never got to just let it go.
