💬 interesting I've heard that the focus is delivering infants 🚼 for maybe as long before there's a push for independence & self care & doing for self if I hadn't known better I'd of thought it's self care

The number one thing should be more awareness to HPV !!!!

I hear that almost everyone has it now. The last time I went to my gynecologist I asked if she could check if I had it, but she said that they don’t do that. There is no way to check to see if you have HPV unless you have some kind of outbreak.

I agree that knowing your family history is important to your healthcare, as it can be a good indicator/predictor of what you may be genetically predisposed to. Having said that, many people who are 50+ years old may not know their family history due to closed adoptions, or in my friend's case, not knowing she was adopted until she came across her adoption papers from Catholic Social Services dated in the 60's after her mom passed away.

Not one time did any medical doctor mention lifestyle, diet, exercise. Exercise is critical to bone health. Shameful.

Hoda DID bring up weight bearing exercises and they did talk about healthy, eating, daily exercise and limiting alcoholic drinks and smoking so they covered lifestyle, diet, and exercise
