I just wish it only took 15.00 an hour to live in a basic way here.

We own a couple of businesses and the minimum wage is going up in Florida. I've already let my customers know that they will see an increase in their pricing to cover this cost. Now our employee's friends, families and neighbors get to pay more for their increased wages. Not just for our business, for every business around them. So that increase in pay they just received goes to pay the increased cost of everything they buy. Best of all, they get to pay more income taxes. So, who is the biggest beneficiary? The government tax collector. Oh and don't forget the people who worked 10 years and worked their way up to $15-$16 an hour. It's wiped away overnight and they are back to the bottom of the scale, now making the same as the guy who started yesterday. Wonder why no one ever talks about them? Hmmm...
