You could've booked round-trip 30 days, then once you got extension just done a rebooking with airline. Change fee for me was $100. Now I just book a 60 day round trip .

As I understand it Air entry is not restricted to 2 a year, but land crossing is.... I think they are trying to cut down on the border runs .... But there will ways around everything Cheers

Hey Paul thanks for taking the time to watch and comment..... And mate I'm not going to get into the whole semantic argument on what is a Visa and what is not a Visa..... I fully understand what they call a visa on arrival, so and so on.... Lol The Visa is the stamp that they put in your passport...... You get that when you arrive here to Thailand and it is a 60-day stamp now... When you go to renew your Visa,,,,,, Yes when you go to renew your Visa they ask you to give them a copy of your current Visa stamp...... Lol As far as the insurance is..... It had nothing to do with realizing that I was not properly covered.... I simply had my insurance set up so that the majority of it was accident based..... I have no pre-existing issues I'm relatively healthy for a 52-year-old male.... I am on no medications I don't need anything at all the only thing that's going to send me to the hospital is most likely an accident..... Therefore majority of my insurance coverage premiums were allocated to accident coverage....... As I'm getting a little bit older I thought it might be wise to start carrying extra coverage in case I do end up in the hospital for something other than an accident..... As far as people not understanding the cost of healthcare over here in Southeast Asia compared to what you guys are paying in the United States...... Sadly mate there's not a whole lot of people in the world that understand just how affordable healthcare is over here...... As far as what box I check off.... Again I'm not an American so I don't have that issue of saying that I do not have American coverage...... I do know this much of the Americans that I have talked to if they try to maintain any type of coverage back in the United States it is crazy expensive...... The worst part is as you say 15K will go a long way covering you over here for health related instances.. The sad part about that is very few people that are traveling over here have a emergency fund of $15,000....... That's sadly the truth if you look at the actual numbers of Americans who do not have even $500 in savings...... A lot of people when they try to come over here they're completely totally unprepared..... That's the brutal truth and that's why I try to make these videos making people aware of all of the expenses that they're going to run into and all of the things they need to take into consideration..... I'm currently up in Hua Hin now...... I think from the sounds of it yes this place will be perfect for you... Cheers mate 🍻

russia get 90 days because thai people going to russia get 90 days, if your government gave thai people entering your country 90 days they would recipricate it you being allowed 90 days exemption on arrival,

@@bigphill67😂 nope…Citizens of non-EU countries who wish to stay in Belgium for more than 90 days will need to arrange a long-stay residence visa before arriving. If that was the case is should get 90 days…? Also russians got 30 days on 2022 until halfway 2023. Stop making things up man… The real reason they tell me themselves in Thailand is the fact 800 000 Russians came in and never left… The cues of people having to go immigration or go border runs was ridiculous. To spread that madness… they gave russians 90 days. I been there 2y now, I know how it works. I have Russians telling me themselves they never had 90 days either until Thai goverment changed it. Even at the border they have signs everywhere about it. So no sir, your answer is not the reason why they get 90… and about the whole west got 30 days

That just shows you nothing is credible. They announce it , yet it's still only 30 days. I booked a 60 trip for November. Hopefully I'll get 60 days.

Hey Odin I actually ended up talking to a bunch of subscribers Sunday night and lost track of time and didn't get to book a ticket... I've talked to a couple of guys who have arrived since Monday and they say 60 days on arrival no problem at all everything went nice and smooth.... Cheers mate 🍻

I actually met up with a bunch of subscribers in Phuket guys who had come down just specifically to buy me a cold one.. . Yeah Let's just say Monday morning at immigration was not a whole lot of fun......

Thanks for being so direct!. Lol Everyone and I mean EVERYONE calls it a VISA...... It is 60 days on arrival and it can be extended for 30 days at immigration... Again you need to understand that there are certain terms and phrases people use.... I am thinking of one right now that I'll keep to myself. . Have a blessed day

I fully get that they're different things Phil but everybody calls it a visa on arrival everybody does even at immigration they call it a Visa..... When you go when you get your extension they tell you to go and get a photo copy of your Visa stamp.... This quite honestly is why I don't like making videos because everybody has to just tear other people apart for no reason at all...
