Coming into this worlds I really thought C9 and EG had potential to be ok and competitive but by the time the tournament actually rolls around it seems like our read on the meta is just so bad. At least EG is putting up a fight but every other NA game so far has just been so depressing.

As much as I'm rooting for NA teams I can't say I'm surprised. It wouldn't be NA at Worlds if there wasn't choking and underperforming.

6:45 this one is a straight miss but there is a legitimate reason why Nautilus players frequently miss hooks on terrain. On champions Nautilus hook has a lollipop, like a small bubble where it will hook the enemy champion even if you missed slightly, the same is not true for terrain. That is also the reason why you can hook champions that stand behind terrain if they stand close enough. You can literally hook someone over the thin walls around river. People underestimate how much skill being good at Nautilus actually takes, it's no Riven but there is a bunch of hidden mechanics and at least a dozen different combos. There is only about a handful of pro players that are actually good at the champ, Zven currently is not among them and that's not just based on this game.
