I understand the brain dump. I also live with family, and I completely understand. I am a single mom now, but I was married for 5 years in our own home and once my daughter was born my husband started having an affair and I moved in with my sister in a whole different state when my daughter was 1 month old. It's so frustrating! I had to start over completely, but my daughter is so so happy! she has seen me cry and work day and night. But I believe God and I know he has us! He cares about us. In this time, we just have to be grateful that we even have a home, a healthy child and so forth! I have these moments a lot where I'm talking just like this! You are not alone!!

As someone who lived with my parents up until my daughter was 15mo whilst sharing a room, yes it was hard but i think i took it for granted.. being around my family all the time, having help, not having to pay bills. There was always someone i could have adult conversations with and tbh even though i have 2 kids now, i get pretty lonely cause my husband works so much!! It was also pretty hard for me to adjust after we moved out 😅

I love that everything is not aesthetic in your videos because it makes you personally Unique as a content creator. It also gives less of a foothold of the enemy of installing comparison. (I am not saying asthetics is wrong), but there is beauty in not following certain trends because it does encourage comparison and paints picture of how the world is when it is not. I'm in a similar stage in my life we had to move our 3 children and my husband and I in with his mom and it's really really hard, but I definitely think this season for me is to increase my patience. Focus on what God is teaching you through this there's been so much I've learned but I could have easily missed and I'm still learning daily. I would love to talk to you if you would fellowship with me about some of the struggles and what I feel God is doing in my heart during the struggles.

Thank you for posting this. Recently I've been finding it hard because I'm waiting on God to do some things and He highlighted this scripture: "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things." I can focus on the fact that my oven isn't working and I'm a baker and that means I can't bake (which is an issue and God will take care of it) or I can be thankful that I have a roof over my head and someone else paid my rent for a month. We can choose to focus on and give God praise for the lovely things we have now, knowing He is working on the other things ❤️

I really liked this honesty. I'm a stay at home mom with a 2yr old and I very much relate to how you are feeling. My husband and I don't own our own home and we do our best to make it through each week. Your videos are my favorite when it comes to youtube stay at home moms. Yours are the most relatable and don't ever feel guilty about living with family, that's the way it always was supposed to be....only recently were families conned into splitting apart and moving away from each other. It's beneficial for all parties to have a support system that cares for one another, obviously this only works with families that truly love each other but I think you get what I'm trying to say. And I here ya on the part about it being difficult to baby-proof everything, I am convinced there will always be something that my little man will find to get hurt on, sometimes you have to roll with the punches on that one. Hey Stas, I’m about 8 minutes into your video and I just want to encourage you that God loves you, is in control, and has a purpose for every season of our lives even when we can’t see it, understand it, or it tests our limits. Regarding [your] vlogs, they aren’t my usual go to form of entertainment but I enjoy watching them because (1) it’s you and I’ve followed you for years now and I know your heart is for the Lord and you live for Him fearlessly in a way that isn’t as a pastor or evangelist or any other “traditional” way many of us associate with serving God but just a regular Child of the most High and (2) because the place God has you in right now is real, honest, and relatable to many of us who find other content creatures entertaining but unrealistic or “privileged” or un-relatable. When I could afford to I subscribed to your Patreon but I am in a financial position at the moment where I live with my family, all unbelievers (Catholic), as I finish my bachelors degree at 24 years old and I still have 2.5 years left. I guess I say this all to say I love your honesty and I have compassion and empathy for your struggles because in my own way I can relate. God loves you and your family infinitely and with no bounds. I can’t speak for anyone else but I will continue to watch your content when I can because I enjoy it, I know you are intentional with your material (especially the controversial topics that require research), it’s wholesome, and you love God. In some ways it’s like having a Christian friend when I have none. I hope and pray that wherever God takes you and your family that He may be at the center of it and that the Holy Spirit would guard your mind and heart from the lies of the enemy that fill us with doubt, comparison, restlessness, impatience, frustration, and sometimes bitterness/anger. I'm in your shoes right now too. I'm a married christian sahm and am living with family. I too have only been raising my daughter here since she was born. She's 1. Some days are harder than others. I get the same thoughts about if I'm doing enough. I try t meditate on knowing that God wants what is best for us more than I could want what is best. He's the advocate for us that we can't be for ourselves. So if he has us in a situation that we cannot change at the moment. I know he has us here for a reason. I try to think of it as a season of life.

Hi Nastasia, I just wanted to encourage you that there is beauty in simplicity and routine when it comes to vlogging. There is another youtuber you've probably heard of, Michelle Reed, and I mean this in the nicest way-- her vlogs are very, very, basic and repetitive. But her channel continues to grow and be successful. And I continue to watch and enjoy her vlogs for the same reason that others do, which is that it's calming to see someone doing their normal routine and just live everyday life. I don't think her audience is looking for a novel new video everytime we tune in, we're just enjoying a day in the life and being inspired/morivated to clean and get our errands done as she does etc. The prank videos and all that other stuff that family bloggers do for clickbait is annoying and not entertaining for a lot of people like myself. So yeah, I'm just wanting to encourage you that doing your normal routine of laundry and eating lunch etc, there's beauty in that kind of simplicity and I very much enjoy it as do many others. You'd be surprised what's different to us - some of us aren't from America for example. Your experiences are unique and I think vlogging also comforts us in what is similar. Even how you do cleaning might be interesting to someone. Editing is the magic that changes the perspective of videos so maybe play around with that more if you feel like it.

Hello! I'm only going to write based on my experience. I'm 24 years old but my childhood was hard. Due to some of my father's decisions I remember that after living in our own home we lived with my grandparents for a long time. We only lived in a room (we didn't have our own living room area or separate rooms). We shared the living room, kitchen, garage etc. with my grandparents. All throughout my childhood it was like this. We would have a home and suddenly would move in with people (only live in one room). Looking back, I can't imagine what my mother was going through as a wife and specifically having to hear comments about my father (he's a different man now, and I'm not saying that your husband does this, but he made selfish financial decisions). As I grew up, I felt bitter and would question why this was happening. I would also compare my life to others. By the grace of God, years later things got better. Now we are fine financially, have healed as a family, and look back at that experience with gratefulness. We don't understand God's ways but in his providence things happen that cause us to fully depend on him. It's hard, trust me. But it will get better. Keep praying and seeking the Lord, just like you already do. And even if it's hard, keep glorying him in all that you do. Eros will definitely remember seeing his mom and dad full of joy amidst the hardships. 🩷
