Men go through a similar thing in that, Christian men are often told be and often thought to be 'nice' and bland and not dangerous. Jesus never called us to be safe. Just as the women that are in the Bible are often dangerous. Ruth, for example, is moral but goes against the traditions and customs of her time.
I love that you brought this up because I’m raising two boys one is four and one is 8 months old My oldest understand that Santa and deers are part of Christmas but I never did the whole magic of believing in Santa clause and sometimes I think about it , should I ? My family never did for us
I follow you for your SAHM content and how your style is not so ”tradwifey” but cool and stylish. Your look and style is more ”normal” for 2020s (even thou I like the 50s aesthetic, but your channel feels more realistic). I also like when you share your thoughts and values boldly why you want to be at home (I like the political, theological chit chats) and your lifesituation makes you more genuine, I really like the peace you seem to have in your days . For some reason RU-vid hasnt shown your videos for a while for me even though I am following. I had to search your channel to get here
I’m so thankful you made this. I just recently started reading again and it has been hard for me to know what to read next 💖 and if you have Goodreads you should definitely let us follow you
Amen and Amen 💛🙏 Jesus has blessed me with deepest treasures only through my willingness to endure the darkness and pain He chose to lead me through. The central truth I've never before understood is, that JESUS has gone through the deepest darkness there will ever be to go through - the cross! When HE asks us to share in some of HIS sufferings, it is absolute certainty, that HE will meet us IN that valley of death - as Psalm 23 so prophetically states - AND will walk through it WITH US, protecting us until we walk into LIFE eternal! He knows the greatest trauma, He's felt the greatest heartache, He knows of the most horrific abuse....If we dare to trust HIM, who came solely to find us in those lost places, HE will lead us out and through into His LIGHT of LIFE! He is trustworthy! HE is kind! He is a most gentle shepherd to broken souls 💛 Our Father in heaven, our Creator, THE LOGOS, is such glorious mystery💛
I feel like it is such a hard thing, especially in our society where everything is about sex and I feel like they tainted the reason for it. As like a 19 yo its so hard to keep away from societys view of sex and have it not influence your idea of it please continue the topic cuz I don't think I'm the only one struggling
Anyone need a good non-fiction recommendation? I'm reading 'Romans 1-7 For You' by Timothy Keller and loving it. He takes you through all the most important theological ideas in the book but without making it heavy, complex, or boring. There's also a follow-up covering the rest of the chapters. It's not like, just, about half of Romans. That'd be lame.
I read Christian Fantasy sometimes and A Crown of Chains by Erin Phillips is soooooo good. And I also enjoyed the entire Starlight Chronicles series by CS Johnson. Idk how the audiobooks are though. I personally can’t retain the content that way lol
Yes please do more book videos!! 📚 I totally agreed with you about the Naturals series I thought it was going to be a new favorite but it was just ok to me.
Im getting married in 3 months, and my and my boyfriend are saving ourselves for marriage (i’m a virgin). For me specifically, it’s been hard to get in the headspace of being okay with intimacy after marriage. I dont feel like its going to be a 180. Im already very insecure and am nervous about enjoying intimacy with my husband. This video helped me tons and im super grateful for it! Thank you 🤍
Loved this! We have similar book taste (not surprised. We have a lot in common). Same opinions on inheritance games & ACOMAF. Looking forward to reading the throne of glass series but gotta get through rest of acotar series first.
📚 I’m currently reading the throne of glass series (on crown of midnight) and I’m really enjoying it! As someone who doesn’t like spice or smut either, I was also hesitant to read the ACOTAR series, but I ended up loving it! The last book has the most amount of spice/smut, so it’s a lot of skipping just as a heads up. The last book probably would’ve been in my top three favorites in the series if it wasn’t so spicy.
Remember Ruth in the Bible did ot just sit at home & wait for Boaz to find her she went to his field. Especially for those of us Christians in our 50s & 60s in this 21st century when fewer christian men are found I. churches there are not any options for us.
