In fall 2016, the Notre Dame Department of Film, Television, and Theatre and the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center were honored to host rock legend Todd Rundgren as artist-in-residence for ten days. At the end of his residency, he performed a concert with student musicians to a sold out Leighton Concert Hall on Oct. 1, 2016.

You are so right. This song was probably written when Mac's parents were infants .... hah-hah. When I saw Todd in 2009 and 2010 on his "Whole Album Tours," he used a group of about 15-16 Butler University choir members to sing on stage with him during The Healing part II and III. I can guarantee you, none of them had ever heard the song(s) before they were chosen to sing; and now I bet several of them are Rundgren fans.

Now THIS is a wonderful performance by a student and Todd. I hope that "Mac" will go on to become a well-known guitarist, performing in concerts, etc. What a talent, and nice to hear her playing and singing with TR.

I attended, what I believe, the concert that the version of ‘The Wheel” on Utopia, Another Live was recorded. A fond memory of another masterpiece of Todd’s superior songwriting. A ‘real man’ inderd. Incredible.

I TOTALLY AGREE!! Mac can REALLY sing. It's just amazing what today's youngsters can do when it comes to music. This is the kind of stuff I REALLY enjoy the most. I met the man while he was setting up at a local place I like. He offered to give our children lessons and to do it in a few hours as he was back-pack touring on his own and rediscovering his directions in life. I speak of a man who learned and played music with Todd Rundgren, not Mr. Rungren himself but another who composed and played all music.

I know where Todd is going but i don't feel what he says; just too skeptical to be healed. But can we still be friends? Anything karma or spiritual I don't feel or even want to know - seems like lunacy - i just don't believe or follow the wheel of karma. Spiritually bereft i guess? Todd is so idealistic and idealist but realism only works with me. Sad :(
