Todd is at least 10k years old. He did say that he was around when the Ancients used that device that made wraith ships and stargates explode.

I believe deep down all Wraiths knew that humans where equally sentient like themselves, but since they litterally needed humans to feed upon in order to survive, they purposefully buried those feelings deep down. Todd was however forced to interact with humans, like Shepard, that made it hard for him reconsile those feelings. It's similar to the Wraith Eliia who where raised by a human. She didn't want to feed on anyone, BUT.... she was also starving and wanted to live (like anybody, it's instinct). It's litterally like hunger, humans can't go hungry for long untill we start eating anything that's eadable....

I had forgotten Todd was on Atlantis at the end. Todd opening for a KISS cover band in San Francisco could have been epic.

What i like about Todd is that he shows what made the Wraith different, their enemy by nature. In the end the wraith need to eat like any other life form, they have only one thing they can eat are humans. The Wraith don't want to starve to death and the humans don't want to be eaten, no mater how well they get along with wraith like Todd that doesn't change.

Stargate Atlantis would have been a killer of a show if they had Todd in more of the episodes. Sheppard and Todd make a great team while still very wary of each other. It keeps both of them on their toes and I like that.

One of the best moments in the show is the final smirk Todd and Ronon give each other before blowing up a wraith facility they're in on their suicide mission, in an alternative timeline. I don't think he was always only looking out for his own interests. He seemed genuinly honorable. One of the best characters the show had

i love in the books you find out his true name is actually Guide which is a huge similarity to John's name Sheppard. The books do a better job of showing how much respect he has for john and teyla almost even a friendship.

Damn, this only makes me miss Stargate more, specially SGA which is my favorite. I'm yet to see any sci-fi scene of a gigantic shield being bombarded from orbit and latter on people drinking coffee watching it.

Todd was important in humanizing the wraith as a faction, through him we understood the needs of his species and despite his acts nobody could truly see him as evil

Something I really like about Todd is regardless of how many times the Atlantis expedition worked with him he still felt creepy, you could never really fully trust him which I think works much better than just making him 'good'

I adore Todd, the relationship he has with John and the crew really adds spice to the series. I think it is time that Micheal gets his hands on Teyla's son and Todd works with John and crew to get Torin John back. There is a lot of material to work with on this, also could really deepen the bond between them all and could be extended to several episodes.

I don't know what is official cannon, but I always felt that Sheppard's final line to Todd implied that Sheppard intended to kill Todd.

In two or more year between Todd is in earth what he did? What did IOA and SGC with him? We don't have information about this in Stargate Universe Series... it's one of more elements do'nt releaved in stargate universe about not closed histories.

True the retro virus would need to be perfected before they would even entertain the thought, maybe have alternate universe janet fraiser make an appearance and be like " oh ya i solved that issue months ago" or something along those lines, also john only intended to kill him if he betrayed them again, so id say its a safe bet he let him live, and really now that theyre on earth killing todd against orders would likely be the end of his career if the i.o.a has anything to say about it

I not trying to complain but I do have to say this. the sound that's played when you pop up the letters in the name todd OMG that's ear killing. I had my headphones on and damn that's hurt. can ya please change it or lower its sound levels in future videos. thanks

Thanks for the feedback. We experimented with this for quite a while and abandoned the previous sound effect for just this reason, so I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing it on the new one. I can attempt to adjust the levels down a bit in the future. But the type of headphones seems to make all the difference. The various over-ear headphones and desktop speakers we have tested sound good. But my new (inexpensive) Bluetooth earbuds are a bit uncomfortably sharp on this sound effect.

The novels introduced the Wraith's own version of their names for one another. However these are not canon.

@@GabePuratekuta Nope. They are officially licensed and so reviewed by MGM's consumer products division. But the show's writers had no input and are not bound by anything in the books. (MGM more or less treats as canon whatever Brad says is canon.)

Hate to tell you, but MGM just got snapped up by Amazon, and if they can shell out $400 mil for a Hobbit series you better believe they can fund a new Stargate series as well. Star Trek fans held out for almost 30 years for a new series, and got a BIG one. They've had multiple since. Just because you don't have love of a series and its messages doesn't mean you're right. Rather than hate, why even bother spewing such vitriol?
