In today's vlog we head to Disney Springs and let Jackson pick out what do all day! We rode rides, ate lunch and checked out some of the stores. Afterwards we head home and make his Halloween costume. He wants to be a ghost so we got some fabric and made him a homemade ghosty costume. We can't wait for him to tick-or-treat in it! What an awesome time you had at Disney Springs! Jackson was so good, and looking at his big proud smile as he rode the train by himself was so heartwarming! As far as the ghost costume goes....things never work out as smoothly as you picture them with a toddler lol ! Mum and Dad you did great!!

An idea about the ghost costume for Jackson so it doesn't fall off or slide, get a head band (or even an old pair of mickey ears you never use anymore) and glue it in the inside close to the eye holes and that will help him keep it on his head a little easier :) . Also big buddy riding by himself on the train!! Good job Jackson! 👏

I'm 35 and have no kids but I went to Trex cafe back in December 2020 and had a blast! I love dinosaurs and have so much fun there. Food was good too!

Loved Daddy and Buddy's day at Disney Springs--and someday the weather will cooperate so Jackson can go in the balloon! The ghost costume is great--looking forward to seeing your trick or treating adventures! I can't believe this is Jackson's third Halloween--one of the recommended videos at the end was back when he was a little guy dressed as Piglet in a butterfly costume--how was that two years ago?!

Way back in the day, we made my son a ghost costume. We cut a white sheet with eye holes and then put one of those plastic Casper the Ghost masks (that was held on with elastic) on top of the sheet. It's my favorite costume that he had as a child.

Recommend signing up for a Landry membership. It’s $25 to sign up which they give back for your 1st meal and you get priority seating. Works for TRex, Rainforest, YaknYeti. We never have to wait. Although this one was a low wait 😂

I would recommend getting a Landrys Select Club membership card, places like the 'dinosaur resteraunt' accept it and you get priority seating, no queuing plus you get $25 credit on your birthday, lots of places accept it, im surprised you guys dont already have it

Yes! Landry's card is good at Rainforest Cafe, T-Rex, and Yak & Yeti in Animal Kingdom. No need for reservations. Priority seating.

For the ghost outfits, I would have attached it to an old or cheap baseball cap, that way its easy to put on, you can line up the eyes a bit better and keep the sheet off his face

Sew a gusset or dart to help the face/eyes fit better. Just hold that piece between the eyes that was creased originally and sew down that area. Using white thread and making sure you see on the “inside” part. The line of sewing would probably be just 2 inches in a straight line. Easy peasy.

We took my nephews to Rainforest Cafe when they were Jackson’s age. They lost their minds and talked about the ‘bad monkeys’ for years. We didn’t even get to eat. We took it to go. We tried again at 5 and then they loved it.

I've eaten at several Rainforests and Hard Rocks around the country (even ate at a Hard Rock inside the SkyDome in Toronto!) and it's all "chain food", overpriced and WAAAAAY too loud. But if that's your jam - hey. LOL . Big Brother Jackson riding the train by himself - go, buddy! :) I ADORE Jackson's "ghostie sounds" when he puts his costume on - precious!! Pro tip in case you ever make a ghost costume again, hot glue the fabric to an old hat or a pair of goggles so that you can position it each time you put it on. It also helps keep it in place when trick or treating :) Happy Halloween Trackers! 🎃
