The before picture is a cute, sweet, little girl with a big imagination. The after picture is that same little girl being forced to wear makeup and a spray tan. She obviously doesn't want to do this. "What do you think about beauty?" "It's boring."

i just see that this child is not like the other ones....she dont want to do this and to put makeup on.....but i hate those parents!i hate all of them and i hate that they just dont listen their children and they do that
Exactually I think it's kinda mean and cruel and she's prettier without makeup just saying and if she didn't want to do it they should make her because it's her they kinda take her childhood away from these little girls it's just sick and mean they need to stop
StrangerThings_FanGirl if she is being made to have spray tans, wear makeup, dance......against her will, it is a form of psychological abuse. Imagine if I MADE you wear a dress, bleach your hair (most mothers in the pageantry circles do this) and forced you to perform in makeup......would you do it? Or, would you say no....you can’t make me? Well, they are making her do this.....she has no choices and can’t say no! So, yes....it’s abuse of power, that is psychological in its effect.
She's so gorgeous. I wouldn't EVER force my child to do this. I'd let her pick what she feels attracted to. Something she'd enjoy doing. This is incredibly sad.
TO ALL PAGEANT PARENTS: Your child is not a doll. Your child doesn't dress in provocative dresses, and dance on a stage for money. Your child needs to focus on learning, because being a famous toddler doesn't last and they will find themselves in trouble in later life. Sincerely, Rosie

I want to get a four year old and sign her up for one. Then make her do it all natural with the clothing she wants to wear. Just so I can see how the judges don't like her natural kid beauty, they'd rather vote for a girl who is forced to wear make up and fake tans. And prove how bad these really are, judging a four year old by her beauty.
There is still the underlying problems with all beauty pageants. It teaches the contestants that beauty is the most important thing. May even cause emotional if they don't win - making them feel like they aren't as pretty as the other girls.
Ugh this mother is basically forcing her to do this. She dosent like it! And i don't like all that makeup, it looks horrible on her. she is so beautiful without it. Me being a young girl, i don't feel her pain because i was never forced to do anything, but i still wish she wasn't in pageants.
Wait is this the one and only time I’m going to see a sweet, kind, and loving little pageant girl? She is so sweet! She isn’t bratty and doesn’t even want to do pageants! Poor little girl, but she looks so sweet!
There was a rarely refreshing episode, when a couple of parents spent almost no money in the process, barely put makeup on her kid, played with her when rehearsing, she saw the full pageant thing like a dress up game... and won!!! Actually, the parents said that they did it as family fun, that when the kid said she didn't find it fun anymore, the whole pageant thing would be done.
Please please let this girl leave, she is showing signs of an IQ, can someone talk to the parents and let them know, they have a real star here. If they don't let her leave, contact social services. Mother needs watching!!!!
This kinda makes me want to enter my future kids and send them in super modest clothes no makeup and messy hair just to see what the judges think about what real beauty looks like

I wish that these parents could see just what they're really doing. I'm pretty sure most of them honestly believe that they aren't doing any harm by making their kids do this. What they need to do is take a step back and ask the following questions: 1. Does my child ever show or voice not wanting to do what they have to do for the pageant? 2. Am I doing this for them or for me? 3. If I was my child, would I want my mom pushing me to do this? 4. How exactly does this affect my child in the long run? Is that good for her? 5. Am I taking this too far? If any of these are a yes, then they should rethink this whole pageant business. Unfortunately, most of these parents might be so blind to what is happening and refuse to believe that this is wrong.

You are the first mom that is calm,understanding and I see you treat your girl like a 4(forgive me if I have the year wrong) year old! And she is absolutely beautiful and sweet. Keep this up and she will be a wonderful lady some day. Unusual to see such normalcy in this game.
Look, if you have to have someone looking like that with makeup, why don't they just buy a china doll and let their four-year-old daughter who doesn't want to do this live like a regular child. She's beautiful just the way she is.

I would let my child do what they want to do, if they want to do a pageant then ok but I would put them in natural pageants, but I would never force them
I was once in a Natural Pageant some people go over board but I had a 35 dollar dress on soft pink lipstick and I won my age group (I think it may be that when they asked me if I could do anything right now what would I do... I said I would go to Disney because it was fun :)
