You are incrideble Adam! I've just one update for this video. Because you said in minute 8'05'' that we need seem if the lecture are atacking of supporting. But in actual test we need understand if the professor are: 1)cast doubt ; 2) challange the argue of the read passage or 3) answer the problam. Thanks again Adam ;)

Great, note taking was a huge issue for me, i just started a couple of months ago the toefl preparations and i am pretty confident but the note taking was something that was yet to be tackled and i came across your youtube channel. i think i learned much here. thanksSK
Your explanations are quite helpful. The listening task is boring and daunting like the reading. This requires a lot of practices and deep concentration. Without practices,it's impossible to get a good score on the listening section. That's for sure!!!
In IELTS the deal with the listening part is the last section. You need to be knowing the synonyms coz most the sentences are not direct. By them time you get that right synonym we would have missed some info. ;D. This is where things mess up. :(

Love this video, especially the advice concerning note taking skills and how to study for exams. A product I also found useful for studying skills is Elumpa Simple Studying Alchemist it should be on google if you need it.
Its obvious that you really care about your followers because your bring up topics that even we did not know about before and this makes you perfect in teaching English. I also have a question. How can we take note in TOFEL IBT test? Does the test let us to look down and take note or we should take notes via our computer?
when i take notes, most of the times it happens tha i miss some sentences. But without taking notes, I am able to understand each and every sentences. Yeah, I know I can't recall all the details without notes but I prefer understanding every sentences and making myself more confident. Its ok to have 3-4 questions missed out rahter than missing the meaning and gist of the passage

thank you so much! I am taking that test on saturday and we only do 3 sections though, which are listening, writing and reading and we do not take any notes. anyway, this short class is really good for me.
mr, i have problem because i’m non English speaker sometimes i don’t even know what the audio talking about especially when they talk a little bit fast . it’s really hard for me because i found myself i need to listen to the audio more than once to get the idea from it how did i can improve it ?
thanks sir, you've done, doing great job, I'm an English teacher "just title", still not working yet I'm watching videos, following everything related to Eng. still thirsty to this language, others think I've good language but still I want to be almost perfect and when I say perfect I laugh at the same time, cause not in the environment, I wish I could do every test related to it, ILTS, TOEFl, reading stuff like for the first time, understanding it like natives without any difficulty, sometimes, it just like finding it similar to puzzles, so I need extra time to get the right ideas, I have the passion to learn everything, to master English but achieving this is not a dream but 2222 hard , I've a friend, speaks 6 languages, teaching everything related to language, like English even HE is IRAQI, but teaching ILTS, TOEFl,...,ect. he was living in Norway, I envy him of having such a great mentality, want to be like him, speaking fluently, he's like mobile-dictionary, I'm 24 but don't want to lose time for stupid things, disaster of not remembering words which read, studied, translated, I practice it just a little, no way to get myself better, so , after all What I've just told you about, asking you whether, there are some websites that I can find test, speaking with natives, doing ILTS, TOEFl tests without facing the real ones...? ?? I think I can read, write well, but how to make sure of me, I wanna improve me I'm good, like you are ..."breaking the grammar rules without being afraid of doing bad"!!... help....thanks again
Hala Hilal Your English is not good, but it is really bad. I advise you to practice more especially focus on punctuation skills and grammar. You used a lot of commas, but you used no full stop.... it takes you some five years to be good at English and maybe 10 years to be perfect.
