the question no 27, at the first sentence written " if he WERE alive today" of course its false because "he" must be put with WAS. but in the answer key its not false. how can ? correct me please
@@Duc359 in Longman, using to be WERE in If clause.. is to show the impossibility. Contextually, the person to be alive again is very impossible. Thus, they use WERE.
