One of the beautiful things about the Gospel message is that it's simple. Yes, it can be studied deeply, but at the heart of all the teaching of the Bible there is the truth that can be so easily understood: God loves us and sent his Son to die for us that we might have eternal life. That's the simple message we celebrate today in words and songs.
