Laurentius and Lucatiel are my favorite characters.

It was because of you that I look at corpses in these games and look around to see how they may have reached that spot. That I take the time to look at finer details on the armor and architecture in these games to attempt to find meaning in specific oddities. The reason I enter an area in these games and try to Feel the atmosphere rather than just see it. Eventually, I made connections of my own, and how everything Might fit together. The way you lay things out helped me make conclusions about so much of what we find in Elden Ring. Whether it's deducing what the Wormface enemies are, or why Godwyn looks the way he does. And I will forever thank you for that. Not in a financial situation to support for a bit, but once I do, I'll be here to see what other lore revelations you bring to the table. Like most historians, you really are an unsung hero. Glad to see that your name is popping up more and more in the FromSoft community.

The smough video has like 600 k plus views but his color theory of elden ring is only at 500k. The latter is arguably a much bigger undertaking and was much more original than the former and yet one has clearly been more popular.

I recently stumbled upon some Dark Souls challenge runs and then rediscovered this channel. I never actually finished the first game and only barely poked at the 2nd before deciding to move on to other games that were more interesting at the time, so now that I've caught up on the DkS1 content on here I have restarted my journey through Lordran. Yesterday I finally managed to get through Sen's Funhouse again and I'm already looking forward to farming Titanite Slabs in New Londo while watching youtube videos just like I did back in the day when I first played DkS1 PTDE :3

There is no one else on RU-vid who covers dark souls and Elden ring like you guys. Just a lot of information is locked behind pay walls just like university, however, this adds more to my life than that ❤️
