Live life, do what makes you happy, life is short. We'll see ya when we see ya! That's how im rolling with my channel. What ever path you take....you did/do a heck of a job getting hotrod content out!
Brother I really feel for you. I've been in your boots. My father in law and mother both had cancer and we had to take the time to care for them. They passed a couple months apart. The same time happened a few years back with my father and brother. That is time you have to take and just do it. My life is still not back on track so I completely understand. Do you and we will be here for you. Thanks for sharing with us.
Mike - you’re looking healthy and strong - keep taking care of yourself and the rest will be much easier. Your Mom may not be able to always express her deep appreciation of you and your siblings, but be assured she does. You’re a great man. All the best to you 👍😎👍
Thanks for walking us around the 34. There were lots of things I had never noticed before. We've all had some scuffs in life. Make sure you're having fun doing these.
As we get older, we take on the responsibility of taking care of others. They did it for us, and in turn, we become the caregivers. Life comes full circle! Alzheimer's disease is a difficult thing to experience as we watch our loved ones slowly take the long goodbye train. It takes so much to have the patience, love and compassion to do this....and I respect that you and your siblings are doing this for your Mother. God bless your Mother and your family.
Just caught your new video, 34 looks and sounds great!!!! I checked and found I was unsubscribed from your channel. RU-vid must have done that, I resubscribed immediately. God Bless ya’ll aging parents can be emotionally tough. Keep up the good work.
Mike I’ve said it before that car is so cool I’m surprised you can sit in it with shorts on. I feel your pain. I lost my farther ten years ago. And my mum went down hill straight away. I looked after her for two years till she past. What ever your mum may say don’t take it to hart. It’s the most terrible condition. God bless you and your family and mum. By the way I booked off eleven days off work plus a bank holiday and weekends gave me a total of sixteen days. I didn’t come to the drags I went to a sixtieth birthday of a good friend the first Friday. A funeral of a very close friend the following Friday. And a car meet the following Thursday. Life’s tuff. Take care best wishes Tim.
I feel you brother. I moved mom into my house for the last 5 yrs of her life. Being her personal caregiver up until the last 6 weeks when I could no longer help her anymore. Thank god for hospice. Things will get better in the end. Take care
My spouse is terminal with respiratory failure. Time and mental energy are indeed in short supply in situations like this. Lately I've forced myself to take some time mainly in the evenings and make little bits of progress and it has really helped clear my head and improve my outlook on things. Take Care!
I'm proud of you Sir! You have admirable priorities management. A cool stable of Hot Rods too. Enjoy ALL your pleasures of life, because it's obvious, you've earnt them all. See you on RU-vid soon. Koops, North East Old England, building a '50s Caddy Motor'd A Ford Roadster, New England styled... slowly... :D
Caring takes energy ,and this hobby takes energy _so you have to have a break now and then . Subscribers will be waiting when and as you're ready Mike 👍
I feel you brother. I lost my mom in February this year Do to Parkinson's and dementia. I was also her go to person. Sorry, for what you are going through. God bless
We’ve all been their - Family always comes first - real life situations makes us slow down and realize what’s really important - your videos reflect the real way we all built our cars - enjoy your Mom
Mike. You have some beautiful cars. Thank you for all the great how to videos. They were informative and entertaining. The best part is that you are a regular guy with some fabrication skills and have inspired many of us to work on projects. Your family is in my thoughts and I am sure you treasure the time you have with them. All the Best. Tony
Do what you can taking care of your mother. I’ve been in the same position for several years. While utube is fun to watch, your time with family is more important.

HI MIKE , JEAN FROM CT. YOU HELPED ME WITH QUESTIONS ON MY 34, I THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE MINE DONE FIRST {WRONG !} ITS LIKE PULLING A STRING ON A SWEATER .MORE AND MORE GETS UNRAVELED. PS , I STILL LOOK FOR YOUR VIDEOS DAILY. I HOPE TO SEE YOU AND THE 34 AT ONE OF THE SHOWS. MY WIFE AND I WILL INCLUDE YOUR MOM IN OUR PRAYERS.
I was just wondering how your doing early this morning at 5am went to your channel then at 7am boom there you are. Weird! I must be physic.😁 Good to hear from ya man! 😉✌
..... family is more important than anything, do the job of being a son to your mom....us in tyland are not a priority.... hoping all goes well for you....pax, bro
I had a similar situation with my wife. Unfortunately it did not come out good and I didn't really survive as far as enthusiasm goes. You are in a good position so I expect things will be much better. Did you and Allie get married?
Mike, you do not need to explain what's going on in your personal life. We appreciate it, but it's not necessary. Family comes first. We are just viewers. We don't deserve any details. That's for you close friends and family. I'm not trying to come across as being rude or ignorant towards you. I'm just trying to show some respect for you and your family. You still have a couple of the coolest cars in my books Mike. I remember months back you made mention that the model A might be going up for sale. Is that still a thought ? I am very interested in it.
I appreciate it. I wrestled with letting people know. Daily messages and not being certain how to respond, I figured it was okay to let people know. It is my personal life, but I’ve chosen to make myself transparent to a point with the RU-vid channel. I do appreciate the kind words and understanding. The coupe is currently on Bring A Trailer. The listing ends on Saturday afternoon. Here’s the listing. bringatrailer.com/listing/1930-ford-model-a-hot-rod/
