Love the videos Steve! Being a plumber down here in eastern Carolina, it's nice to see how you yanks do things as well👍 I hate after shutting commercial buildings down to fix things like you've done in this video. It always seems when you open the building back up, trash always ends up getting in other flush valves. Pain in the butt! You're awesome! Keep the videos and advice coming.
changing the hole sloan flush valve was a good idea. It is sometimes cheaper to replace the complete valve versus the the stop. Now they won't have any problems because it was fixed right.
Been watching you for a few weeks now Steve and learning a lot from you however on this one I dont understand why you changed the entire valve when all you had to do was replace the shut off assembly and the vacuum breaker?
Georgia Flyer he's got it all mama chickens, all the tools, he even shows us how to cook! What will he do next mama ice cream? He's has the truck only time will yell.
Nice work steve. Im wondering if you have ever ran into problems with puting pipe dope on the sweat rings with those flush valves? Ive had problems with the dope geting into the diaphragm and preventing it from stoping the water.
A post the word Lovejoy a plumber no no cap stuff I run across you knucklehead or a cross or a gross ring warm her across plumbers each is doing the right thing by wearing gloves so lay all format
Now there is such as thing as plumbers each Very hard thing to get rid of A talk to your old time plumbers that tell you about the from hours I tell you all about the plumbers Inch
Well that wasn't a good lesson because he took the easy way out and changed the entire flushometer instead of just repairing it. It's cheaper to repair than it is to replace and its always better to know how to repair a device instead of always having to purchase a new one. A new Sloan flushometercan run you close to $300 when to repair it will cost you under $50. Who wants to just throw away $250? NOT ME!!!!
