Yes and he either should have said he was just going to the bathroom or put down the toilet seat before he told the cops he was sitting on it. The cad even used his own teenage daughter to testify on his behalf and it was hard to watch her on the stand as she claimed she'd seen her father give the gun to Brian and then immediately blurted out "I'm not lying about that." And by the sounds of it, Brett's family probably will go to their grave in denial he killed his wife. It's easier than accepting he did.

The man, using the alias "Peter Bergmann", had checked into the Sligo City Hotel on June 12, where he stayed during the majority of his visit to Sligo. People involved in criminal pursuits, often have it end badly the and children unfortunately lose their parents, when one parent lost their life, the other in jail and nothing was these young children’s fault Also, parents involved in adultery, which will often end badly too and if nothing else sits a bad example to their children who might’ve guessed, or at least noticed something.

It always amazes me the details noted by investigators at a crime scene. Impressive! Brett just wanted to clear up two problems in one shot. "Royal flush", "Sitting on the throne", and "Case in the can"...you are sooo baaad :-) And another great alliteration LOL!!!!

This is why you should never lend money to anyone who gambles. Not to anyone really. But especially not to them. They can only drag you down with them. It’s possible that if you are sitting on a toilet and go to get up real quick because of danger, as you are getting up from the seat you’d be pulling up your pants in one motion, knocking the seat up as you ran out of the bathroom.
